They are not in it for the science. GMO foods have been created in order to patent our food. If they were really altruistic and trying to save humanity from starvation they wouldn't be suing organic farmers that had their crops negligently pollinated by their neighbours GMO crop.
The author of that article has no clue how to do a comparison. The graphs are all skewed, none of them start at zero so the differences are blown of of proportion. The magnification also varies from graph to graph.
I do know enough to point out a flawed argument, that said all other facts are irrelevant. You've made the assumption that just because you couldn't think of a good reason doesn't mean that another reason doesn't exist. I did state that the near uniform radiation may only appear to be uniform because we lack the method to measure it with greater precision.
The background radiation is just noise and we will never be able to measure it with enough precision to make the conclusion that we see all of the radiation out there. We have no way to know how far away that source of radiation is.
Actually, you're confounding the problem. The observable universe is always going to be finite until such a time as the observable universe and the universe are the same and the universe itself proves to have some sort of a limit in dimension.
That makes absolutely no sense. The universe is what it is regardless of what we think it is or whether or not we observe it.
I have just as much proof that the universe is infinite as they do that it's not. That is to say exactly none. We will never be able to prove that it is infinite by measurement just and we will never be able to prove that it is finite. Like I said a hunch isn't exactly proof with either argument. A year ago the "universe" was about ten times smaller than it is now. Once the new telescope is functional I'm going to make the wild speculation that to will get bigger yet.
Tell that to the high school teacher that insists that they have proof because most articles and papers don't make the distinction between the the word universe and the term observable universe. Many astrophysicists don't even know the difference. Assumptions are not what science should be based on.
So why do they thing that the universe isn't infinite? It seems that every time they get a bigger telescope the size of the universe gets bigger:\ Did they ever think that that big bang thing could have just been a localized event?
The free market is the problem. You trust Comcast to do the right thing? I've got a nice piece of swampland to sell you. Many people only have one available provider in their area, ie there is no choice.
But it's my job to say what type of traffic is unwanted. If I wanted to live in China I'd move there. It's difficult to decide who I trust less the government or big business; maybe that's because there isn't much difference between the two.
That's why Bisphenol A is a registered toxic substance in Canada. It also causes more girls to be born that boys.. but maybe that's a good thing for the/. crowd.
Adding sugar to food is evil. In North America diabetes eats up nearly 15% of the health care budget not to mention the indirect losses such as lost work.

Maybe if they gave up their PS3 then they would realize that you can still play games and not let Sony bend you over whenever they are in the mood.
Does this mean I can register apple-bites.com ?
When does Stephen Harper get his? It's the only reason I can see why he would waste our tax money on F35s
Isn't removing sources of learning the best way to win votes? That way the public will have no idea they are being brainwashed.
But heavy gas users are usually heavy vehicles which degrade the road surface quicker than a light vehicle.

I read the article and bought a new plasma furnace for the desk but it really gives my monitor a warped and melted look.
Is that the one with cobwebs on it?
This is old but these types of programs have been out for a long time. I took part in a rock paper scissors AI contest ten years ago.

"radiation comes from the beginning of the universe". Another assumption. Did the universe even have a beginning?
Similarly the standard model is hugely useful but far from proven. Finding a model that works isn't proof.
