Don't many phones now have GPS devices built in? Couldn't someone change the firmware of the phone to limit calls to anyone moving under a certain speed? If you patent the idea be sure to send me a cheque or two.
I've had experience with HP, Acer, Fujitsu, Itronix, Toshiba, and Motion Computing. Our customers have purchased hundreds of tablets and I hear it when they don't work as advertised.
Do youself a favour and get a convertable with a built in webcam. I've seen refubished ones on Ebay for around $600.
The expensive ones are better but not usually worth the extra money. You can replace an Acer or Fujitsu three times for the price of a high end Toshiba or Motion machine.
Avoid machines with 1.8" drives like the plague. They are SLOW and usually around 80GB. Make sure it supports 2GB ram, 1GB is usually enough though. A 4 hour battery really lasts for 2 hours. Price out replacement batteries. You will need to replace it every year. The ones I bought off Ebay are as good as the OEM ones for 1/2 the price. Make sure it is visible in bright light and sunlight. Call the support line before you buy to see if you get through. I found Acer support the best YMMV. Slate tablets are useless.
I've used a few of these these printers and programmed them using ascii commands. The models I used were also very reliable.
They all come with great documentation that you can download before buying.

That is not the case here in BC. Bars or pubs may require up to two pieces of ID, one of them must be a government issued photo ID.
Most bars here do not even ask for ID if they are resonably certain you are of legal drinking age.
I'm very happy with the privacy commisioner's ruling. I'm one of the people that sent in a complaint.
What pissed me off is now that bar has my driver's license, my credit card number, my birthday, my address, and my photo.
When I get my new drivers license next moth the first thing I am going to do is try to disable the smart chip.
Who says the universe has a finite age? The observable universe might have an age if defined in such a way as creation by some large scale event (aka big bang)
What we know of the universe is just one "big bang event" out of a possible infinite number of others over an infinite amount of time.
I think the problems begin when astrophysicists make the assumption that universe was created in the first place.
From what I understand about the Watchmen, it's about the human condition not making 10 billion at the box office.
I loved the movie, never a dull moment. Maybe some people just don't understand the storyline well enough to follow along. Oh and I liked the sex, nudity, violence too.
I have a kid that is 14 and I wouldn't mind him seeing the movie but I would need to prepare him and explain the story before seeing it.
It seems americans try to censor things instead of understand them.
Why do some people need faith?
I was open minded enough to read a good chunk of the Bible, I even went to church regularly and decided it wasn't for me. Perhaps a few of them should read some of Richard Dawkin's books and see things from my perspective. I'm guessing not very many would even consider it. I really don't care if someone has personal beliefs just don't force them on me or my children.
I also want to say how grateful I am that I don't live in Texas.
Of course bands will still be able to record without the record labels, what they won't be able to do is spend $100K on recording an album.
Nirvana recorded Bleach for $600
You're also forgetting that the vast majority of acts make their income from performances not from record deals.

I had assumed that type of eye movement allowed the brain to apply a super-resolution filter.
Since the eye has a limited number of rods and cones and the eyes lens isn't perfect, it would allow the brain take multiple images and average to get a more detailed image.

You're just plain wrong. There are lots of ways to fully use SMP when either decoding or encoding MPEG streams. Not only are frames grouped starting with a jpg like keyframe using something called a GOP each frame is constructed of blocks which are usually 16 pix square of which each block can be processed on a different thread. All the audio streams and video streams can be processed by multiple threads too.
Let the salivary enzymes do their job. It will also make sure you have built up the proper immune response. If you get sick again, don't worry you can repeat the process as many times as required.
About your quote....
Not if the universe has no edges. I get tired of apparently smart scientists thinking that the universe has a size. It has not size, no beginning and no end. Get over it.
I'm not affiliated with any religion and I can't see how anyone can justify shoving their viewpoints down somebody else's throat. Being a neutral observer I don't see how either side is better (more right) than the other. I don't see the extremist Christians in the US as any better than the extremist Muslims in the Middle East.

Why not allow customers to download or get emailed a digitally signed pdf copy of the statement or bill.
I found a number of articles saying there was recent solar energy research involving melanin http://precedings.nature.com/documents/1312/version/1 It does sound a bit too efficient though

How can something of infinite size have a volume?
I think they must have meant banning any more human hybrids in the state.

It is irrelevant if the supported hardware is useless for gaming for a 3D workstation. ATI and Nvidia are currently the only two that matter.
Not if you don't make it clear why you're getting up and walking out without eating. Maybe the cook thinks everyone likes what is on the menu.
Obviously compare doesn't work but the it should have read "Error establishing any connection"

What makes you think that those lawsuits are stupid? Personally, I'd want any science teacher reprimanded for teaching that in a SCIENCE class.

Maybe you can find someone that will transfer it to film?

They missed one option. What if antimatter is not affected by gravity? I'll put my money on falling down.

I just don't get why this would be unethical? Does mother nature hold patents I'm not aware of?
