    WDDM already does this for video cards. The compositing system that displays the desktop and applications in Vista and Win7 shares video card resources between all of the apps, 3D or not. I wouldn't be surprised if MS manages to get DX9 games running at 90% speed on WDDM compatible video cards.

    What is the benefit of this system? When healthcare providers have easy access to anyone and everyone's records they'll jack up the prices to everyone but the 'ideal' patients.

    So I guess its not fairly obvious. What exactly makes it obvious that a mirror image of a molecule wouldn't function exactly the same and therefore be found in the same quantity as the other?

    Administrator and System can both run code in kernel mode by loading a device driver. The hypervisor is not a permission level like what GP was talking about.

    Huh, maybe thats why real-world performance of the PS3 shows slower load times than the 360. Forcing the drive to constantly adjust the rpm as it seeks doesn't seem like a great strategy.
