I think blind/braille browsers are completely impractical. What a non-disabled person could view in a few minutes would take hours to go through on a disabled browser. Many pages on a website contain repeated information, and the person receiving the information would miss out on the structure of the page, and obviously any images. Creating web accessibility for the blind is hopeless in my mind.
There's NO need to use God to explain any natural phenomena. To do that is to go back to a very ancient mindset. Evolution is supported by enough "conclusive evidence" that it is considered to be a scientific theory. It may be hard for most people to comprehend that life has evolved naturally and began randomly, but if you give it several billion years and the right circumstances, it's bound to occur. Organic compounds existed on Earth since the beginning.
I wouldn't trust a large population to accept that evolution is currently the strongest explanation we have on the origin of species. It's just too easy to attribute it all to God. It shows we have a lot of educating to do.
Obviously, most people don't think it's unethical to download music. And when the majority of society disagrees with one of its laws, that law will change. At least it should.
"Similarly, Gmail forces you to view ads alongside your emails. Unlike Yahoo, it offers no paid option to avoid the ads."
Google text ads are inconspicuous (vs. Yahoo graphical ads) and I would never consider paying for e-mail.
Some guy sent me a TON of those free shipping supplies you mentioned and as a result my porch was filled to the brim with boxes upon boxes. The guy who delivered them didn't think it was too funny, and it turned out to be a mess for days.
I can understand how it might be excessive for the average person to pay but he's probably bringing in much more than that from spamming and he's also probably costed businesses much much more than that from clogging networks and such.
I have to change the batteries of my Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse monthly; maybe Apple could do it better than that but this thing has extra features which would drain batteries such as sound effects and a bunch of sensors. Also, even the slightest lag is intolerable while playing the most fast-paced games. Otherwise, wireless rocks and I can't wait to see a Wireless Mighty Mouse.
Boiling Point absolutely destroys the argument against taking action on global warming. When greenhouse skeptics can't find any flaws in the work of real scientists, they turn to discrediting the scientists through personal information.
Personally, I care more about my freedoms and privacy rights than I do the FBI's power to perform extensive wire taps and searches without carefully considered warrants.

I'm considering adding braille to my website and building ramps between pages for those in wheelchairs.
Ever heard of an ecosystem?

I use Firefox...how does this affect me?

It's nothing to be ashamed of.
What's the point of making more energy when a good chunk of it will go to waste? Green energy is good, but it's not to be wasted.
Internet should be capitalized.
Four legs good, two legs bad!

See title.
If he's getting a Gmail account then who cares if he gets spammed on his old account. lol.

The mouse is PC compatible FYI.

Well, the compass let's you move directions through clicking instead of dragging or using the arrow keys (I'm guessing you already knew that).
More likely, this congressman is funded by some oil or coal company.

Is Vista pronounced veestuh or vihstuh?

First we lose these rights, then those, then the ones over there that we take for granted today. We must break out of the sequence!
My computer can hardly handle running SETI, and I don't think it would be that much cooler to be involved in this.
