Not everyone needs virus scanning. Even if you're on Windows, if you don't use IE you can often avoid it by being smart and not running random files through email.
Go to about:config, and search for "keyword". You can change keyword.URL to change the site it takes you to (I use a regular Google search). Alternately, toggle keyword.enabled to make it add www. and.com to the URL instead of using the keyword URL.
That it does, and using AIM on the cell phone typically costs A LOT of money for a long amount of time. AIM isn't that efficient, and you often get changed by the kilobyte with that stuff.
There's a Firefox extension that finds your Local Shared Objects directory and allows you delete them. Only problem I noticed is that the remove all button doesn't work (FF1.0.4 Fedora Core 3). It doesn't work on Deer Park Alpha, though.
It looks like they already have one. If you click on the download link for Firefox, cancel, and try again, you'll probably notice that it doesn't come from the same server.
It is based on the Internet Explorer browser engine (your most likely current web browser) which means that what works in the IE browser will work the same in Maxthon tabbed browser but with many additional efficient features like...
Some sites do this already and store them in an Ads/ directory. This will prevent them from being blocked before you get there, but once you see the pattern, they can be easily gone.
What we really have to watch out for is putting them among normal images with no clues on the difference between a good image and an ad.
1and1 is pretty good. I use it currently, and though I have a few gripes with them, it's a different story. When 1and1 was trying to get into the American webhosting market, they offered 3 years of free hosting (5GB transfer a month, 500mb space). My only complaints are that they were somewhat slow and used to send a little spam.
This is good news for all gamers, not just Nintendo fans. Nintendo will force other gaming companies to keep on their toes and continue to innovate. Though Nintendo hasn't done very well compared to the PS2, they have a strong hold on the portable gaming market.
Not always true. Some applications on Windows expect to always have admin privileges, so they try to save temp files in a directory that only an admin can access.

You can turn Firefox's image scaling in the Options window under the Advanced tab. Uncheck "Resize large images to fit in browser window".
Shift+Delete is the delete keyboard shortcut that bypasses the recycle bin in Windows Explorer.

Agreed. Perl is nice, especially when you need a module for something special and can easily find it on CPAN.

I believe that here's referring to the fact that some cell phones have Instant Messaging (AIM-style) usable as a program.
Or you write your own. (Yes, I'm guilty of it too.)
Any reason why you put the web archived Google link into tinyurl?

I currently have Deer Park Alpha 2 installed as well as Firefox 1.0.4, and they work fine if they use seperate profiles.
Netscape has used the Gecko engine since Netscape 6.

Good to know that spyware works the same.
I especially like "1.00 Is Linux good OS?".
Illinois Area, Charter:
8/10
Pretty good speeds and decent service. Some odd downtime quirks. Limited upload at 128kb/s.
The only complaint I have is the local dialup ISP uses Charter for their service, so if Charter's down, my town is basically down.

"Damned if you do, damned it you don't."
That's exactly the point the FA made, and I was refering to marketshare. Sorry about not making that clear.

Mirrordot works.
Session saver has an option to save and restore sessions on crashes.
Running Windows gives geek cred?
