    even you have incorrect stereotype, a "fundamentalist" in a religion is merely someone who follows (or at least believes they are following) the basic teachings of a religion without the usual additions and evolutions religions get over time.

    There are Christian "fundamentalists" who hold different or the exact opposite views of groups such as this Westboro Baptist Church. Just as there are fundamentalist Muslims who don't believe in killing and violence.

    it has not been proven whether the videos were "faked" (selectively edited) or not. ACORN for years had other questionable things going on with its finances.

    on thing is for sure, i hated having my tax dollars go to that and similar organizations, such things must be independently funded.

    news for you, placing inductor with coil near line doesn't "steal power that was leaking out of the lines anyway", it acts as secondary of transformer that in fact removes energy from line, stealing power that would have gone to customers.

    easier to scratch a plastic matte. I love my glossy Toshiba wide-screen laptop, I keep it clean and there's no scratches though its four years old. care and carefulness with equipment!

    who said anything about uranium in drinking water? natural uranium is legal, you can buy a chunk on eBay or elsewhere.

    since arsenic is in all drinking water, including at your house, at negligible level in most cases, as generally true statement arsenic in drinking water is therefore legal.

    natural is good, by and large.

    natural uranium is legal. anthrax in deer poop in the woods is legal and mostly harmless to everyone but about one hunter every ten years. Naturally occurring levels of arsenic in drinking water is legal. castor seeds are legal.

    this helps me to be a better employee. From now on I'll only save 25% of the data I acquire, because the odds are the other 75% would only be needed 7.5% of the time. In other words, 92.5% chance not likely to be needed at all.

    GNU / Linux isn't my favorite OS, something else is.

    GIMP (also not my favorite photo editor) has zoom, funny you ape some other person's comment out of ignorance.

    as for PNG, my digital cameras do several formats, all handled by GIMP. but I've never seen a camera that does PNG. Can convert a PNG on import to something more useful should the need arise.
