    So US politicians don't try and push for laws that control content onthe internet? The US doesn't use space launch technology for military applications? Look at the power that the US holds in its hands and what it does with it. I'm sure China will be just as bad as the US, but frankly I doubt they would be much worse.

    Wouldn't that require changing the gun laws to actually allow people to easily obtain guns? Yeah, that'll make everything so much better. Less spam, more murders. What about morons who aren't computer literate enoough to understand faked headers? Hmm.. good solution, I'll start sending spam with faked headers of those very same morons, and as a group they'll exterminate themselves en masse.

    Then you won't be voting for many UK politicians. For all intents and purposes we don't have the death penalty here. Though I believe it is still on the books for treason. On an aside, I believe it is also UK policy to not even extradite anyone if they would face the death penalty.

    Then buy the lower spec model, and record in better format (more space taken, less tv recorded). Even better, don't buy one. I'm also guessing you aren't in japan, so you probably won't be able to buy one anyway.

    Well if you like it, I'll check tonight if my local copy has updates not on freshmeat, and I'll update it if that's the case. So peek again in a day or so to see if there's an updated version. Note also that my skin supports the mplayer fullscreen pop-up control widget on the bottom edge, I forget what mplayer calls this.

    As has been pointed out, they are not being fined for lying. They are being fined for making certain claims after being told by the court not to. And those claims haven't been determined as lies by the German court, but they have been determined as unsubstantiated. Basically if SCO doesn't try to prove their claims properly, they aren't allowed to make them, and fined if they do so.

    No. I'd like to reiterate my point, that my mplayer skin perfectly meets my needs.
