The only reason Nintendo would do this is if they were scared that the PSP will steal too many customers. Given the difference between the systems that probably won't happen but hey, I'm trying to be optomistic.
I think that maybe the third one will be better. George Lucas can't be oblivious to the fact that the public opinion of his last two films was not so favorable. I doubt he would want to be forever remembered of ruining a potentially good saga.
Some really great independent games are made because a lot of times the programmers are more worried about making a sweet game than making money. It's festivals like these that give these games what they deserve: recognition. Kudos to the people that run it.
You should keep an eye on the Nintendo Revolution as it is supposed to have something that hasn't been applied to gaming before. Maybe it will be that something that your PC won't be able to do for a long time.
Why don't you just go buy a computer if you want to play computer games? I know it would cost more but you can also do a lot more with a computer. The more Microsoft incorporates into the Xenon the more expensive it will be.
I'm not really in the field yet but when I code for long periods of time it is usually of my own volition. If you wait until the next day often you forget some of what you were working on. Reaching a stopping point before you quit accelerates the development process.
So it takes a degree to be a journalist. Because researching is so hard you need school to teach you how to do it. You really think you are something else don't you?
You knew it would happen sooner or later. How many stupid games are made each year off of movies? Developers are always looking for new ways to milk pop culture for all its worth. I really don't see how they make much money off of these games that no one buys. Maybe this one will surprise us and actually be good.
So anything that comes out of your TV on the news is news? What is the difference between this and blogs? Are you the one to decide what is news or not? Maybe we do need a organization to do that. Although it seems to me that it should be left up to the individual to decide what is news for them as most do even with what is popularly called news.
This is very true. While learning a certain language I always have many inconsistanies in my code. In fact I always want to go back and change it as I progress. It just shows that experince is much more than talent.

Yeah the loved scenes killed me.
That's my take on things as well. Just as long as it's not Hillary.
...or replacing Darth Vader in the Return of the Jedi celebration scene with that mullet-wearing, no-talent hack for the sake of "continuity."
I was wondering if that was just my eyes playing tricks on me or if I really didn't remember the originals. Thanks for the clarification.
He is referring to the new trailer mentioned in the article.

Seems all my peers know who Link is and a lot of them aren't gamers...but then again I'm half your age.
Ah, but it seems only the unusual facts are considered "journalism".

Most journalists report facts. Lets say the sky turned some unusual color. Now that would be on the news and considered journalism.
I was just trying to say that I probably would work that long whether made to or not. Now they should get some sort of compensation if it is required.
I'm sorry if you think my opinions were uninformed but hey, that is your opinion.
Also I would like to extend my apologies for attempting to flame you. I was rather immature of me.

You actually like the symmetrical placement of the control sticks? Seems to be most people's biggest gripe about the PS2 controller.
My sincerest apologies.
I agree, I think this will be a deterrent that might keep some developers away from the Xenon.
GameCube's disks were a mistake? Last I heard they made load times faster and helped prevent piracy...
I stand corrected.
Apparently some people think you need a degree to be a news service.
