  3. It never was "trickle down", it was more like trickle everywhere. Everyone benefited from his policies. It did work and the US saw the greatest expansion the world had ever seen up to that point. We're about to cross it again it looks like under Trump. The Democrats economic model doesn't work anywhere in the world that it's tried. That's a fact, so is Reagan's economics.

Not hard to find. Just look at the numbers. Bill Safire was right in his time, however dog whistle has a new meaning today. Don't like what conservatives are saying - get the dog whistle out and call them a racist, fascist even the N word because the left can use the N word to describe a conservative black man or woman with impunity. Watch the dogs come out on queue.

What's funny is when the dogs don't know the psychotic left has changed what they hate. Good example is Comey. Cobert was caught flat footed when he said Comey was fired by Trump and they all cheered. They didn't know that was now a bad thing. Cobert had to clue them in. Some people might say the people on the left are really stupid.

In fact, Democrats often talked positively about Trump until he was a candidate for the Republicans. Black rap songs aspiring for him. A lot of black people are seeing the hypocrisy.

How do I break this to you. What you're telling me is you don't know what racism is. It's really offensive how people use it to describe someone simply because they don't agree with them. Usually over something very minor.

You complain about him pointing out black people get in trouble with the law, then bring in Hispanics which is an ethnicity and not a race. They're really just white guys for the most part. You can be black an Hispanic as well. The Census Bureau has a table on that and that's what was agreed to decades ago. Not subjective. As for the criminal problem - just look at the numbers. Black groups point it out. Trump had problems with people that happened to turn out to be black counting money. I'm sure there have been Jews that steal (Bernie Madhoff comes to mind), however I've worked with plenty of Jews and I've never had one steal a dime from me. I have plenty of black men & women steal from me doing business. OMG have they stolen from me if they get half a chance. That's fact, not racism. How much? I'd say well over 100K over the past 30 years. Well over 100K.

So I don't do business with black people anymore? Nope, in fact I own a bunch of houses and every one of them has a black family in it. In fact I recently helped get a black man out of jail. He was in for a violent related crime. I don't think he did it, which is why I helped him get out.

Sure you want to go into the immigrants? Especially the muslim bit. They have a history and they'll tell you that's how they take over countries. Come in, they don't assimilate, they take over. That's what they're doing in Europe with their enclaves and that's what they're doing here. Not that far from me in Virginia there's an enclave that I can't go to. Even though it's supposedly a public area. Little by little they take over areas, governments, put in Sharia law and then it's theirs. Resist and they kill you. In France there are a lot of no go zones. This is something Europeans fought for centuries to keep out and now they're welcoming them and even paying them to come. The stupidity of the young.

So let's talk about the Mexicans. Do you watch the fake news or the real news that'll tell you about how they have done DNA tests on these kids and can prove they are NOT related to the adults that brought them in? Child trafficking, sex slavery. They will claim they are their kids right up until the DNA test proves they aren't. Plenty of MS13, which is a big problem in PG County, right next to Washington DC. They murder a lot of people. In fact you have to murder someone to become a member. So why isn't it ok to talk about this? Sure there are people not like that, however there are a lot that are. We have laws about this. Why isn't it ok to enforce these laws? Why penalize the people that came in legally? Why are so many people duped by this.

I know about racism. I grew up with it. There was a city about 5 miles from mine that had a guard shack to prevent entry, Jews, Blacks were not welcome nor allowed in. I think the shack was removed in 1972. Black people couldn't buy in most neighbourhoods, only certain areas. Go south a little bit and they had separate bathrooms, separate water fountains for black people. As if they had a disease or something. Black people had a guide for how to travel. It was called the Green book. A black man could end up dead without it. No kidding. Black people couldn't get certain jobs. Can you imagine that? It's charging black people more to barrow money than the same situation white person. It's not showing a black man the same houses as the white woman. Same financials, she's white, he's black, shown different neighbourhoods. That's what racism is like. So who passed these laws, usually refe

Who the fuck said I had a job at the time?

Shit, the UK didn't have a minimum wage in the 80s and in the 90s I was working for less than $3.10/hour.

But hey, keep judging people by your own income level. Doesn't change the very substantial shift downwards in the cost of photography in the last 40 years.

You said it cost you more than a day's income, so I believed you had a job. Maybe you know a money fairy or something? If you didn't have a job you need to let us know how you came upon your money. If it's an allowance from your parents I'm not impressed. It means nothing as a measure.

I used myself because I consider myself at the bottom back then. I mean bottom. I was just a step above homeless. Some of us when we hit 18, that's it. Out of the house you go. End of discussion. If I had $100 in the bank it was a wonder. Maybe we just had it that much better in the US than the UK? Maybe, I don't know. I remember when I was married I had about $300 in the bank. Not a whole lot. I made it work though. Those days are behind me. At least for now.

As for photography, is it really that much cheaper? Sure, I have a canon DSLR and I think it has around 3000+ shots on it. The last one was probably around 12,000+ shots. Nice high res shots. Now if I go to print them, it gets expensive fast. I don't have a lab like I used to. So I'm back to a retail place. If I want trash, Walmart or the local other places. If I want a nice photo of my Daughter's wedding, that's some money. The one hanging in my living room was around $150. In the 1980s that same picture taken with my AE-1 would have been $20 all day long by a bunch of shops. Probably less than that if I shopped around. If I print it on my HP Laser printer? Yea, dirt cheap. Good for a lot of people, no where near the quality of that $150 print. In some ways I suppose, other ways I think it's probably more expensive unless I consider my income. If I consider my income now, hell yes. It's really dirt cheap. I pay a lot more in taxes than people make a year in the US. I know, that's probably not as impressive as it once was since a lot of people don't even pay taxes. We have a lot of freeloaders. I wanted to compare pictures from when I had no money to someone today that was in about the same situation I was back then and I know some people like that.

I certaiinly didn't carry a camera in my pocket that could take thousands of photographs for a marginal cost of 20 minutes charging its battery.

Where in the world did you get your stuff developed at? Maybe you were blowing them all up to 8.5X11" or something? I still have a ritz camera package for 35MM color print for 24 double prints and it was $22.76 in 1987. So even if you considered 1 per, that's still under a buck a shot. In 1983 minimum wage was what, $3.10 or something an hour? I remember the film itself was dirt cheap. This is at Ritz to boot, Fotomat (or your local destruct-photo) was cheaper. Prints are what cost you. I used to shoot a lot of slide film, then print it if I liked it.

Maybe if you bought Polaroid film, now you're talking some money. Crappy quality though quick picture.
