thats what i am going to do when it comes time to buy a new phone, i will go to a brick & mortar and ask to see the phone and i will open the settings - apps and see if there are third party apps and if they can be uninstalled, i dont like the lock in of third party apps, Samsung phones are great hardware but the software side of things has some annoyances
now i can finally delete facebook, microsoft office, and other crap i never use, at the moment i can disable these apps but i can not delete them, now i expect a system update to change that so i can finally uninstall all the unused third party crapware
then when someone visits Washington DC when they get near a politician it will notify with a message that the US Government is 23 trillion dollars in debt, call the police immediately!
the biggest liars and data thieves in the world want to handle global communication? let me know when this goes online and i will smash my phone in to little bitty pieces
decentralize the domain, put a mirror in Russia, a mirror in France, and the main website remains in the USA and use rsync on the systems once an hour that just keeps the new data in sync
otherwise google playstore will turn in to a shithole of crapware, and i will abandon my android phone & tablet, and just switch to a dumbphone that only handles phone calls and text msgs, i think there is a niche market for quality cellphones that do only those two functions (phone & txt msgs)
i have a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and i disabled facebook, and a few other non-essential things i dont use, and on top of that when i dont need to use a full featured smartphone i set the battery saver to maximum which disabled everything except for phone & text, which makes most the apps inaccessible and that is fine with me most the time, i can always turn the battery saver mode off when i need to use a full featured phone, then switch back to max battery saver mode when i am done
dont make any moves that you could potentially regret, dont pull out in front of moving traffic if it means you impede their progress, it is safer to wait a minute for them to pass, and when you need to make a turn, dont rush ahead of anybody then pull in front of them only to slow down and make a turn, its better to slow down, get behind them and make your turn
and i can not delete the Facebook and Facebook App Manager, i can only disable them, i would feel a lot better about my phone if i could completely remove all of that facebook kludge completely, if Samsung does not fix this so i can remove them i wont be buying another Samsung phone when it comes time to getting a new phone, i would research android phones and find one that is simply pure android without any third party apps welded in that can not be removed,
just think of all the cemeteries with graves, not only is it taking up real-estate that could be better used for the living, each and every grave has about a gallon of formaldehyde that is slowly seeping in to the ground and contaminated the groundwater (YUCK!)
amazon prime is a "pig in a poke" and there is no shortage of suckers to buy in to it
it is sort of a racket, its like a long line at the grocery store but the store manager is accepting payola to get cuts in line at the cashier, i only use amazon as a last resort if i cant find what i want elsewhere, and since walmart has a much bigger brick & mortar presence and their own fleet of 18 wheelers it just makes walmart better at shipping in terms of both faster & free shipping, and walmart made their website better for shopping too
they use the privilege that i buy products from/through them to spam my inbox with promotional spam, the only mail i want to see from amazon is a confirmation of a purchase and then a product shipped with a tracking number, anything more than that is spam
i bought their basic package, but what they dont tell you is that peppered throughout the channel line up is every other channel is 24/7 infomertals peddling crap, and channel surfing is slow so when you switch a channel you have to wait a few seconds for each channel to display on the TV, i promptly canceled after a very short time, i did not pay them to load my TV with all those spammy infomertals,
i just dont watch TV anymore, its just not worth the annoyances to watch
