This is just another reason why US based manufacturers are screwed by the world market. They have to pay full US taxes on their full profits, the other businesses don't.

i dont like sports, i lock out espn in my TV, i find it boring and stupid to watch grown men run around on a field chasing a ball or whacking it with a stick or club, and if i can get my basic cable subscription a few dollars cheaper by excluding items i dont want to see is fine with me, same with MTV CMT and VH1 not interested in it, i watch maybe 5 to 8 channels out of 62...

many government programs that are not essential to survival should be either scrapped and dismantled or shelved until the debt is paid off and better economic times come, and NASA is one that should be shelved, maybe in the future newer tech will make gaining escape velocity more cost effective , and the space shuttle is like your uncle's old smoking oldsmobile 98 with the dents all down one side, (send it in the junk yard) it was nice a couple of decades ago but it is now showing its age...
