That is one of the most awesome names for computer hardware ever. Almost as sexy as a Blade server. Whoever thought violent themes and computers would co-exist? I'm looking at you Hans Reiser.
I liken this to how water cooler chatter among employees is often more factually correct (especially concerning gossip about work), than more formal means of communication passed down by employers.
Learn DOS 7 or how to edit your autoexec.bat in Windows 98 for a dedicated machine. That way, you can boot up into the 2 best DOS front ends, ArcadeOS or Game Launcher, without even a hint that it is a PC.
And wiring your own is so much more fulfilling than buying a pre-made system.

Amtrak lost almost half of their federal funding this year thanks to our dear president. Truck subsidies actually went up. I don't think trains will ever catch on in the US as long as we have content soccer moms driving SUV's to get groceries.
Have you read Tiger Direct's BBB record? It is horrible! They had FTC action taken against them for false warranty claims. I don't trust anything that business does.
The game is so simple, yet so addictive. It is simple for only using the thumbsticks for control and the motive is to make things stick to the katamari you are rolling around. The replay value once you start playing is amazing.
I make my own cables for use in a PA system. The only reason that Monster Cables are more expensive is they use a thicker gauge wire, thicker shielding and good quality connectors. If you can obtain those 3 things, you can get great quality cables without having to pay for the brand name.

The title of this news article is a silly one- "Distro of the Year?" I am surprised it didn't incite a slap fight among the nerds that wish to advocate their Linux flavor of choice.
Call me a purist . . .

Halo 2 Expansion?

I own a copy of Halo 2, but I would rather play DOOM any day.
Let me explain. The Halo series has pretty graphics, but the game speed is so slow. I became horribly bored at how slow everything crawled compared my FPS of choice on a 200 mhz pentium system.
The first person shooter has been re-hashed so many times. Multiplayer was a great innovation, but let's see something new more novel gameplay that performs as well as their FPS predecessors.
I think the gaming companies are just seeing how much more they can squeeze from the money tree with variations on a theme. In the mean time, I am going to stick to my copy of DOOM.
That was a great article, but they forgot some great oldies.
I am running DOS 6 on my 100 mhz machine to do the titles on my analog video editor.
I am running DOS 7 on my arcade machine so it boots right up into the game menu. I love it because it has large disk support.
I have been using these for so many years, I couldn't imagine using anything else.
Since this is for dev related to Google, this could be a great opportunity to attract lots of talent to their company.
This has the opportunity to be a great thing for all parties involved.
I question their intention of self-publicizing their piracy group.
Is it because they are begging for attention?
Is it because they truly want to educate people about "The Scene"?
Or is it because they make $0.05 on web banner click throughs?
The world may never know . . .
My computer just got stoned.

Does this count as a "major upgrade" that would invalidate WGA?

I for one welcome our informative stalker overlords.

They are really trying to make use fill up those 2 gigs with fonts etc.
Jerry Falwell's moral majority!
I agree. I thought of that word when I was 8 years old.

I hacked my IPod shuffle into my pants. (It's called a pocket)
We should send Google to search for life on Mars.

I would sell my IPod for the features of a second button on my mouse!
