    wtf are you smoking? I send emails to myself while at school(they block gmail.com, but mail.google.com is fine) and they always show up in both the inbox and the sent mail.

    you may have dozed off for a moment. a catalyst aids in the reaction, meaning that the reaction can still take place without it being there, it's just that the catalyst makes it more efficent.

    playing WoW isn't a public service either. Blizzard is a private company that have the right to ensure the safety(non-exploitation? I'm not sure of the word that would equate to safety in an online game) of it's paying customers.

    Not that I agree with their logic, but I think they think that if they know what happened in the beginning, they can use that to help figure out what will happen later. My old physics teacher likened it to an apple pie. If you've never made an apple pie before, and you only have the ingredients, it's going to be a lot harder to make one than if you have crumbs from the last pie, even if it was blueberry. Something like that, I'm not entirely sure.

    i seem to remember from english class(i know, that's not saying much) that the cake referring to the dough that was left in the tray after making bread. the stuff that didn't come out. not a cake like a big chocolate cake type of thing we think of today when people say cake.

    not really. what mac os x does for you is give you a nice gui, so you don't spend your time learning unix, you get to just look at it and the pretty widgets.
    unfortunately, i find mac users more annoying than ignorant windows users. mac people for the most part think they are so great and awesome because "hey! my computer is a fruit!" windows users who don't know any better just like how most of the things work, because everyone releases drivers for it. and i use the 3 major oses, and i prefer debian of them all. windows is there for the games, and the mac, for the multimedia.
