It might not be as slow as you think. I've pushed a 35 ton boat around by hand rather easily on the water and I imagine in microgravity the behavior of moving massive objects like that would be similar. HOWEVER the strapping down would be rather unsafe as that kind of weight would do your body a world of hurt if you got hung up on it with your feet strapped down - or at least you'd end up a LOT taller :) Another thing to keep in mind is any massive object coming back at you - don't let yourself get pinned. Not only could that 35 ton boat have pretty much torn me apart pulling it would have crushed me to death if it pushed me against a solid object.

To be honest hydroponics is probably the best solution for the GMO especially if they can contain the chemicals to get rid of them in a safe way instead of just dumping them into the ground. I have no issue with anybody wanting to grow GMO IF they can do so in a RESPONSIBLE manner. I also would like to have them labelled so I can choose if I want to eat it or not. Cross pollination needs to be minimized so we can avoid having organic crops contaminated. Of course this would never happen since it would cost more. Although the cost of growing GMO corn is hidden quite a bit due to various subsidies that make the livestock feed made from it cheaper to buy than the cost to produce it. Not to mention the ethanol/fuel uses which also are hiding the costs, again due to subsidies.

I used the "pinkie" extender on the clips to get a better grip because it was very unforgiving of anything resembling "limp-wristing" and would stovepipe in a heartbeat if you didn't have a firm grip. My understanding was the 9mm version was less picky which is why a lot of cops carried it as a backup weapon. I don't know too many cops that would carry a weapon they knew was unreliable..... Incidentally the bullets I had in it while carrying were Corbon 135 gr JHP which I NEVER ONCE had a single issue firing them out of that gun - they just were awfully pricey for on the range but I'd run a couple clips through every trip to be sure it was happy in case I needed to depened on that weapon. Cheap target rounds were typically where I had issues and I ended up swapping to a different set of springs if I was going to run much of that through it which solved that. But once you got around 200 rounds through that gun in one range session my wrists tended to hurt so I typically only ran a couple clips through :) That's one reason why I consolidated to mostly just 1911 style .45 in recent years.

So there were advantages to going to Radio Shack for phones rather than the kiosks. On the other hand it was rather miserable the way they degraded to wanting to just push only cell phones. We still had a few people coming in once or twice a week to pick up various parts out of the small selection we still carried and they don't exactly appreciate being asked a couple times a week if they're ready to upgrade. If they ever DO start shooting at airliners the odds are what will happen is planes will land with a hole or two in them. Even if they have multiple people shooting at a plane at the same time the worst that would probably happen is you might end up with a couple of people injured and MAYBE a person or two killed but it would be HIGHLY unlikely they could take down the plane. We've had instances of criminals shooting at spotter planes as police were closing in on them and even occasionally hitting a pilot or observer but not shooting down a plane and those are small 2 passenger private planes. Some years back an airliner I believe going to Hawaii had a large section of the roof peel off and it made an emergency landing. Even with a small Cessna I recently read about where an escaped convict with a large caliber weapon fired at the spotter aircraft as the ground units were converging. He eventually hit the pilot and the observer had to assist in landing the plane but the plane was intact. Incidentally the pilot survived. A few small holes in the plane aren't going to make it crash - they're not THAT fragile......
