I will agree with you only to the extent that I think *ALL* religions are pretty much equally stupid. Believing Joseph Smith recieved a angelic revelation is no stupider than believing Mohommad or Abraham received a similar revelation--and all those pale in comparison to the general belief that a first-century illiterate Hebrew peasant who happened to be crucified by the Romans as an insurgent was somehow the human incarnation of an omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent God.

To me you ALL sound like a bunch of ass-clowns.

Yes there are abusers everywhere. But recent revelations have shown a pattern in the Catholic Church that you don't find just anywhere. The fact that so many priests have been busted is bad enough, but the REAL tragedy (and where the Church REALLY failed) was in their clear and deliberate attempt to actively cover up that abuse and protect those who engaged in it. I have nothing against Catholic dogma or the religion itself (it's no more stupid than any other religion, IMHO), but that sort of behavior is shameful no matter how you cut it. At the VERY LEAST they should have shipped those priests off to some monastery in Siberia (far aways from kids), if not kick them out of the priesthood altogether.

Sony has for decades now been one of the handful of big media companies that basically controlled the kingdom of all media. During that time, they came to regard that kingdom as their birthright. Excluding movement and camera controls, a modern controller has 19 buttons--8 on the directional pad, 2 triggers, 2 bumpers, 4 buttons, start and select, and a playstation/xbox button (okay, maybe the system would reserve that one). What's more, a MMO designed for the console would including a control scheme geared for the controller. There are MORE than enough controllers on a modern controller for any MMO. And, of course there are numerous other ways of configuring your control scheme for even more effectiveness (like the expression wheel in Fable 2, the response wheel in Mass Effect, etc.). A controller was more than adequate to control Oblivion, after all, and that was nothing more than a MMO without the online part.

You PC snobs need to get over yourselves. God didn't bequeath the keyboard and mouse on the world as his gift to gamers. And the only reason we don't have a MMO on a console right now is because most developers suffer from the same lack of vision as you do. But eventually someone will do it. And when they do it successfully, every developer out there will kick themselves for not doing it first.

It truly amazes me that so many companies are out there right now designing yet-another-WoW-killer for the PC only (that's probably just going to fail epically and bankrupt their company) when they COULD be the first company to put a real modern MMO on a console (to date, only old and weak-ass efforts like Final Fantasy 7 and Phantasy Star Universe have even tried).

Why spend a fortune to compete against the WoW juggernaut and about a million other established MMO's on the PC when you could be the first and only game in town on the console?!? It's absolutely insane that no one has asked this question before.

A few appearances in Wes Anderson's lesser works (I was a big fan of Anderson in the mid-late 90's, but man, he turned into a pumpkin on January 1 2000) and "Lost in Translation" (which I thought was godawful and VASTLY overrated) is about all he's had. Combine that with crapfests like Charlies Angels and the Garfield movies, and I guess I can understand why he would stoop to this level.
