IE Learn how to program(logic, design), then pick a tool(language, ide, etc) to solve the problem.
I use java by trade but i can do any lanauge with ease, C++ is my fav tool though.
It is a crappy system. They should throw out all clicks in a 24 hour period for the same ad from the same ip. They banned me because some prick clicked on my ads over and over daily. I use yahoo now, seems better. I do not trust google with anything, they are a bubble waiting to pop.
3 cd for visual studio, 3 cd's for the entire MSDN library. 1 cd for the rest. seems reasonable to me. I am sure the CD's have redundant information on them.
I agree, until Linux just works for every possible thing it will not be any good to non geeks. I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows XP, and I never really have a need to boot to Ubuntu unless I want to play doom3 which i installed on that partition. I attribute most of this to the fact I use my powerbook for all productivity and my desktop for World of Warcraft. But to get my bluetooth mouse/keyboard to work in ubuntu was a real pain in the ass compared to windows, the average user wouldn't waste their time.
Domain registrations should cost $100 a year, just to help stop idiots from buying every domain name for $8.95 and reselling them for more than they are worth.

Mine passes, but it means nothing. Most people still use Internet Explorer, and they wont change.
I use a Mac primary now, but I do own a Dell and I have never had any issues when I reformat it and install XP pro(Legal). I think people just use this excuse to whine about Microsoft.
It is C++/MFC. The install directory has MFC and the C++/C runtime libraries..
Side note, it loads in about 1-2 seconds on my 3ghz with 1gb ram.
The program reminds me a of a Photoshop version 4 or 5 floating toolbars etc. Every action causes a sound to play though!
I like Fireworks more. =)

Odd, it worked well for me. I even used it to make a few images for a client. It is not a photoshop or fireworks, but it owns gimp.
