Not quite. From what I have read about the Sync API it is easy to add a new "database" to be synced (i.e. your application can make it easy to sync the contents of that application) but you cannot add new devices easily. So you can make it easy for users to sync your application data via.Mac.
If it was ordered before a shipping date for Tiger was announced then you will have to pay for Tiger. Apple tend to offer people who buy machines once a shipping date is announced "free" upgrades (you pay shipping, normally around £15,$20). As your machine looks like it's going to ship after a Tiger ship date is announced you might get lucky.
These modules (or really in iWork terms separate applications) are not in iWork 05. iWork 05 is the first step towards replacing AppleWorks. It is not yet a complete replacement. Look towards iWork 06 (in 2006 of course) to fill in at least one of these gaps. This is probably why the new Mac mini is shipping with AppleWorks not iWork 05.
The performance gains and features supported by Core Image ultimately depend on the graphics card. Graphics cards capable of pixel-level programming deliver the best performance. But Core Image automatically scales as appropriate for systems with older graphics cards, for compatibility with any Tiger-compatible Mac. Supported graphics cards:
* ATI Radeon 9800 XT
* ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
* ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
* ATI Radeon 9600 XT
* ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
* ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
* ATI Mobility Radeon 9600
* NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra
* NVIDIA GeForceFX Go 5200
* NVIDIA GeForceFX 5200 Ultra
These cards are available in today's PowerBooks, Power Mac G5s and both the 17-inch and 20-inch iMac.
Note that there is no reference to 64Mb being required.
Sybase is not a replacement for Access (neither is MS SQL Server). It does not provide any sort of graphical front end. It is just a database server. You write your own custom front end in whatever you like. You can probably even configure Access to connect to it via ODBC.
Most policies (at least here in the UK) have exclusion clauses for things like this. They will only pay for theft if you have taken all reasonable steps to prevent that theft, i.e. locked the doors, engaged the alarm (if fitted) and so on.
More recent downloads are limited to 5 machines, up from 3. To compensate for this the number of times you can burn an unmodified playlist containing a DRMed track dropped from 10 to 7. You can, of course, burn the playlist once then copy the CD as many times as you want!
I've bought 5 or so CDs since they were forced to source from Europe. 2 or 3 have had slight delays in shipping due to this, but I still tend to get them with 7 days of ordering.
More annoying is the fact that many of the CDs are copy protected. Still my PowerBook seems to ignore all copy protection and rips them fine:)
Yes (at least in the UK). If you stop paying your line rental (on a land-line) or stop your contract (on a mobile) then you loose your phone number after a while. If you reconnect you will get a different number.
Just like the Open (and Close) Door buttons on most of the London Underground. I see tourists pounding those open buttons on the Central Line all the time. It does nothing but they seem to feel better.
Obviously no-one remembers AppleWorks for Windows. Whilst you can contend that Apple did not write AppleWorks it did (maybe even does) exist for Windows.
In fact there is an update available for the windows version as mentioned here
Apple did not offer them a special deal on the pricing. They sold them 1100 G5s at standard educational discount. What they did offer was a bump up the queue to ensure that the cluster would be running in time to make the November list.
Whilst Apple will not have a "new" CPU in 6 months, i.e. they will not have a G6 they will have a 3Ghz G5 by summer next year (as was announced at the introduction of the G5).
Microsoft has been shipping a bluetooth mouse/keyboard for months. Belkin started offering a bluetooth mouse a week or 2 ago. Apple were not the first, or even the second!
Current Apple keyboards do not have a power button on them (and have not had for a while now) so this is one less problem. I believe that the Apple key functions as the Windows key too.
This is illegal in the UK. License plates have to be made to a very strict set of rules that cover the materials used, colours, fonts, reflective properties and so on. In addition it is a seperate offense to attempt to make your plate unreadable to cameras (for security you understand)!
I went one better for you. I compiled and ran the version of TextEdit supplied as example code with XCode on Panther. It was able to open a.doc file. I can confirm that it is using NSTextView and NSTextStorage (not custom subclasses) to do this. So it looks like all Cocoa apps using text views will be able to provide basic.doc file handling for free. Very nice:)

This is a common mistake. Some Macs are assembled in Ireland, normally PowerMacs, but it's mostly a depot/warehouse. All Mac Minis are made in China.

Not True!

Virtual PC 7.0 was released (and shipped as well) a few weeks ago. It supports the G5 just fine.

Why not use Bluetooth. Even if your machine does not have Bluetooth you can add it for around £20 (or probably $20) via a small USB dongle.
OpenTalk (ne Rendezvous) IS open.

Above is the wrong link! This is a direct link to the Cult Of Mac Blog.
Note that the blog and wired section are different.

Because iTunes is a pretty front-end onto the media playing capabilities of QuickTime. It uses QuickTime to play every file.

Worked fine on 7B21 as did the iPod updater.
Sort of like this?

Is this good enough for you?
