  1. You still have a land line.

I do -- 911 is faster and way more accurate over a landline (cell phones use GPS, which I have switched off by default to save battery power).

In addition, if you have (young) children, you should have a landline at your home - for the above reason and so *they* can easily call 911 in an emergency.

  7. you should have full access to what you paid for

Except ... they didn't pay for it.

The buyers made an explicit choice to NOT pay for the additional range, in the full understanding that they wouldn't get that feature.

But the customers actually have the hardware (batteries) that can support that extra range, just not software access to the extra 15 kWh -- which means Tesla is overcharging (no pun intended) everyone on the hardware - and/or that it isn't priced according to scarcity.

But, more to the point... While I appreciate the difficulty presentations and public speaking may pose for those with anxiety disorders, people and life aren't always going to accommodate you. Learning to handle situations like this in a relatively consequence-free environment, like school, is to your benefit.

I reckon the same logic can be applied for taxes for this company too. It's a moral requirement for the federal government to make money.. by jacking up your corporate taxes by 400%.

The government cannot target a business for taxation....it's against the law for the government to single out a business and tax it differently than other businesses.

You should tell Trump about this "law" ... From Trump threatens Harley-Davidson with taxes ‘like never before’ ...:

President Trump on Tuesday threatened the iconic motorcycle company Harley-Davidson with severe taxes and predicted a public revolt that he said would eventually put the 115-year-old firm out of business, blasting the Wisconsin company for a plan to move some operations outside the United States as a way to avoid getting caught in the middle of an escalating trade war.

  25. You have it backwards. According to the peer reviewed research, at speeds below 35 mpg, helmets are the rider's best friend. Above that, and the weight of the helmet becomes a serious risk of breaking the rider's neck, so the only real benefit is an increased chance of an open casket funeral.

I don't know about the "research" you mentioned, but helmets, especially full-face helmets, also protect against flying debris. Ever get hit in the face by a rock, perhaps kicked up by a semi-truck, at 65 mph? Even rain at that speed is really uncomfortable. People who don't wear helmets are called, "future organ donors". I'm not saying you can't get really messed up even while wearing a helmet, but not wearing one is just dumb.

People riding these things should play by the same rules as a motorcyclist.

    Agreed.
