MegaMan 9 is ok. I think they made it just a bit too hard though. After failing to defeat a single stage in my first playthrough (tried all of them once) I put on MegaMan 2 and 3, and they're tough, but nowhere near as difficult.
I agree that it's not the BBCs responsibility to provide revenue to the ISP, however I don't think that was suggested. I had, perhaps wrongly, assumed that the BBC would be getting that money extra $10, and that they'd be getting it by adding an optional tax onto your broadband bill. I'm not sure why the BBC would be concerned with ISP revenues.
I'm not going to pay $10 more a month for what I already have just because someone wants more money. But... if the BBC made their content such high quality that my 10Mbps connection wasn't enough to stream from their site, then maybe I'd consider upgrading to a 20Mbps plan. Don't offer me what I already have and pretend it's suddenly worth more - offer me something better, and then maybe I'll buy it.
It's got a field that says "I am a robot" checked off by default. A human should obviously see that and uncheck it. Those registrations that come in with it checked are blackholed. It's definitely cut down on the SPAM accounts since they enabled it.
Xvid4PSP is the best I've found:

It has a slew of other format and device options, is easy to use but offers many advanced options, and is multithreaded to properly take advantage of dual/quad cores.
Parent was mentioning efficiency and "significantly less maintenance". Issues with the charging system (alternator, coil, battery) are some of the most common with today's cars. What indication is there that the Tesla would be different? I also don't think the motor in the Tesla is going to be quite as simple as simple or cheap to replace as an alternator. I agree about the replacing the battery bit, but I'd also imagine they'll be prohibitively expensive.
Also, I'm talking about an Elise... it's a small two door Lotus, not a Ford Mustang.
You also have no idea what type of maintenance the Tesla will require. Keep in mind the Lotus is powered by a Toyota 2ZZ-FE. They almost never break down, and when they do they're incredibly easy to fix. Where are you going to find a mechanic to service your Tesla's electric motor, or the batteries?
I think you're missing my point... I'm not saying that the Tesla needs a manual transmission to perform better, I'm saying it needs one to be a fun sports car. The Tesla also weighs 800 pounds more than an Elise. I don't car that it's faster, I'd like it to be more nimble and agile. Cars like the Elise are designed for fun on the back roads and in the twisties.
Just because they can afford to pay a higher percentage doesn't mean that it's fair to make them. The $500K may actually utilize government funded programs less than the $100K family, which could make it even less fair. On paper I agree that it seems fair to pay more if you have more, but in the real world it's not so black and white.

If Ubuntu shipped on the vast majority of personal computers, then yes it might.
Give it to me. Or give me Vagrant Story 1 at a higher resolution. That game was godly.

Don't forget the Windows95 Easter Egg where a simple series of actions on the desktop would get you a blue screen with a special message from the OS.

Come on Sony. You really have a good machine, why can't it play more video formats?
... than after the repair mission.
I think he meant old Cat 5 Stevens.
So Brownback is upset that the Chinese government is forcing companies to spy on innocent citizens? Hypocrite much?
Quick everyone - all of our eggs in the OpenDNS basket!

First response I can totally agree with!

A roaring engine is an integral part of a good drive. This doesn't get me, *ahem* revved up, so to speak. Behold, the music of the angels:

Wake me up when it has a manual transmission. Until then, I want this: http://www.lotuscars.com/elise_190.html

NewEgg has some relatively inexpensive Asus and SuperMicro chassis to chose from: http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=8&name=Server-Barebones
