    What?! Australia doesn't exist?!

Of course! It makes perfect sense now. To think I was stupid enough to believe there were animals that had tails and hopped about on 2 legs, or a half-duck, half-beaver, half-otter that was venomous.

Thank you sir for opening my eyes to this conspiracy. We must let the world know of this terrible lie!

Millions of lives are made worse by Windows and every other worthless MS product, every day.
I hardly think so. I don't wake up in the morning and think "Geez, another shitty day in this MS world, if only they weren't around life would be so much better".
Sure some of their stuff is bad, and there's better alternatives out there, but to say millions of lives are made worse is just crap.

However, I don't know if I'd go as far as not paying attention to all laws - see Romans 13:1-7, for example.

The way I, and most others I know, understand that passage is that Paul is saying to submit yourselves to the authority of the Kingdom of God, not to the Romans.

    But each to their own...

What a lot of people seem to forget is that uni is a service, one that you pay for.

It's YOU that helps to pay the lecturers wages.
It's YOU that helps to pay for the building maintanence.

You should consider yourself the part employer of your lecturer, and would you let someone you employed give you orders.

I'm all for respecting the wishes of lecturers, but this is something that you are paying 10's of thousands of dollars for, and if you feel having a laptop will help you take notes, or study, then you should have one.

ATI's card number IS easily understandable.

Each new generation changes the beginning of the card number, e.g. 9... X... X1...
Then each card series is defined as either a .300 .600 or .800. Then you can define revisions within the cards, like XT, XL etc.
you must be blind not to see that a X1300 is a low end card, that is 2 generations ahead of a 9600
