Apple will never make it in the cell phone market if they want to put iTunes Music Store on cell phones. The simple reason for this is that all the cell phone carriers have their own music stores being rolled out and they don't intend to relinquish an ounce of control over this, or anything alse they can get their greedy hands on.
And since CDMA network user are forced to use phones that the provider chooses, there's not a damn thing Apple can do about it. And you can be sure RIM would get the boot if it tried something similar.
The PS1 and PS2 both had a wide selection and variety + the PS3's backward compatibility with their titles strongly suggests that history will repeat itself. Sure, nobody can predict the future and be 100% sure but you can't use that as an excuse to ignore the overwhelming evidence that Sony is set to stay at the top of the console market.
I believe that a console should by itself have enough interesting games each year and in each genre to be a worhtwhile purchase. The GC has had a few gret platformers and a few big name games that were sure fire sellers and therefore not a risk for the game developper to port from another console. The rest of the games predominantly are kids (8 to 12 year old) themed games and games based on movie franchises.
The GC nerver took off in a way that a successful console does.
Not me. I have a GC but I'm done rooting for the underdog and missing out on great games. Letting petty market share fanboy wars influence one's decisions is a sure way to get screwed. I can't believe how much denial there is in the Nintendo threads here. It's exctly the same as when the Sega system was dying. As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo is dead.
It's one of the basic flaws of companies that are publicaly traded. The top guys are hired to keep the share price at what it is and make it grow. So if an upstart usurps their market share from the low-end, they find it kind of hard to offer cheaper products that will compete with their own high-end offerings... until it's too late.
The editors don't bother to read the FAs so I'd be surprised they read at the comments. Also, my initial comment is a flamebait only if the person reading it is a fanboy who can't accept criticism.
The only reason the is a Fedora and an Open Suse is because Red Hat and SUSE want to differenciate the branding of their 1000$++ distributions from what you can freely download on the net. Their client have to feel they are getting something more valuable when they pay them for their enterprise branded versions.
I understand all this but with graphics you can see the impact of your investment in the card directly on the screen. Physics is too abstract to market to the average Joe.
What next, an AI chip? People are willing to invest only so much money on a gaming rig. I don't see this kind of addon taking off unless Intel and AMD hit a speed limit.
there's no way in hell this will take off in the mass market unless it's incorporated on a graphics card of something. Nobody except hardcore techies is cogga buy a separate compoenent just for games physics.
This is NOT cool, it's ridiculous.
Amen to that :)
Well YOU are complete idiot that's for sure.
The NDP are not corrupt. Maybe if people would stop voting for the lesser of 2 evils something good would actually happen in this country.
Don't mod this informative. There is no information to back up the claim.

Yeah but where's the thread where we can bitch and whine or sing praise?? I predict a lot of OT moderation today.
And this is not a real game... it's a hoax.

I've got multiple people to tryout Firefox and some of them didn't want to switch from IE because they found the startup time too slow.

Go ahead bitch, hit me again.
Whoever modded me as flamebait is a major troll or a fanboy.
"Such as enforcing the NX/XD bit and enforcing a non-executable stack" Isn't that an AMD specific feature?

"misspelled domain name names" What's a domain name name?

IMO that's precisely what was intended. to give hope that the FF series is coming back to Nintendo. No gonna happen.
This story is currently under construction?
Amen to that. Plus his new stuff is good but it takes a few listenings before it kind of sinks in.
