BBC America doesn't air Doctor Who anymore. The only stations that air the classic series in the U.S. are two PBS stations, one in Maryland and one in Iowa.
Ah well, hopefully this deal will mean more airing of classic Who. I remember being bitterly saddened when WYBE in Philadelphia lost their rights to it last spring after having watched the entire 1980s run and then a little bit of season 1 on that station.
Wikipedia disallows the posting of images hosted on other sites to prevent goatse-spamming. It wouldn't have been a bad idea to do this on the LATwiki.
However, the main problem, from an anti-vandal perspective, was the lack of moderation. At one point in time (thankfully pre-goatse), I was single-handedly reverting the various vandalism that was ongoing. Most of it would have been easily blockable had there been an active sysop (it was originating from a mere two user accounts). If you're going to have a highly publicized wiki, you owe it to yourself to have 24-hour moderation.
According to the text of the amendment in question, it would have to be ratified within the next seven years, not next 100. And it would require 3/4 of the states, not 2/3.
And of course Santraginus V is mentioned in that serial, one of a couple Doctor Who - Hitchhiker's crossovers. There's another story where the Doctor mentions that he read one of Oolon Coluphid's books and disagreed with it.
The main FIRST competition is the FIRST Robotics Competition (I'm on team 1168 of that competition). The Competition Champions were teams 330, 67, and 503, and the Chairman's Award Winner was team 67.
I liked the Tertiary Phase, but it was pretty much identical to Life, the Universe, and Everything and didn't really provide much new entertainment.
I especially think that changing the ending to Mostly Harmless is a good idea. I was never comfortable with that (no spoilers here). And tying up loose ends are good as well....what did ever happen to Lintilla?

So that's one of the crucial Time Lord genes....
I've been on AIM (gaim 0.67) continuously for a couple days, though - perhaps I'll get them when I sign off and reconnect.

Does the bin burp when it eats somebody?

And yeah, this post is pretty much on-target.
Here's the text of S. 786. Thankfully, no co-sponsors yet. Here's hoping that most Congresspeople see this bill for what it is - lunacy.
Gotta love Base 13.
