    I was under the impression that they were having hardware failures. If it is in fact a software problem then thats a different matter. But still 2 billion sounds way overpriced for something that still might not work correctly.

    using handheld computers to track and tally the millions of Americans who do not return the census forms mailed out by the government. The Census Bureau plans to hire and train nearly 600,000 temporary workers to help. And 1% of 600,000 is 6000.

    Hell there are lots of different things you could do. Buy N810s write custom software for them its something you could easily fit in to your bag or pocket. Hell if you had problems you could just have them bring 2 or 3 with them just to be sure they always have one thats working.

    This all seems really stupid when you think about the fact that a few people + some hardware could come up with something in a basement. $2 Billion, God Bless America.

    I never had a 300 but I had a 600 that I just loved and later I had a Riot, god that thing made me want to kill myself sometimes and it was like the biggest POS ever. Later on I had the Karma and it was a wonderful player but my hard drive gave out on me after about 7 months.

    Over all I loved Rio and I wish they still made players like they did back in the day.

    The N800 only gets a bump up to 400mhz after you install OS2008 and OS2007 still plays flash well enough for me. On youtube you just have to let the video finish downloading before you try to play it.

    I think with OS2007 the CPU is set to 340-360 somewhere around there.

    Yea I have a N800 and I live in Minneapolis so I'm looking forward to when the whole citywide Wi-Fi network is done (I can hit one AP already but it gives me a pretty crappy signal a new one is going up next week just down the street) I plan to either ditch my phone all together or cut it way down for just 911 and when I'm out of the city calls.

    Plus the N800 is going to rock when I can hit wireless anywhere within the city limits. :)

    Just because your just starting out in something doesn't mean you can't read stuff you don't quite understand at the moment.

    I would think it would help people advance quicker seeing as how you would have something difficult to attempt when you were ready for it.

    I was going to make a post about how nothing else in my computer fails as often as hard drives, but then I remembered that hard drives spin really really fast and pretty much everything else has no moving parts.
    So I think you might have a valid point.

    My problem is that in a State like MN where we just finished upgrading our ID system the federal ID program would have us do it all over again and in fact not as do it as well as our new system. A unified source of ID would be wonderful but thinking the federal goverment can do a good job of it is just stupid.

    I'd like to point out that so far the PS3 is doing about the same as the xbox360 over all I know that the sales started better but they could still pull it off.

    Watch them side by side the Live action one goes much faster than the cartoon one. It kinda bugs me, but then again I watch at least 5 eps of simpsons a day so I might be a little biased towards the cartoon.

    Hummm 750 does really seem to be ignoring IMO. It might not be as high as others but maybe that because people who can get there hands on one of them might like to keep it seeing as theres a shortage.

    Yea but what about long standing pains such as arthritis (it might not help if you have it in your hands or wrist) or something like emotional pain such as depression. I know that when I'm having a crapy day sitting down and zoning out on a good game sure helps me.

    You do know that not everyone goes to raves to do drugs right? Its about the music, the people, the places, the atmosphere, for some people that means drugs but for other that means dancing till you can't dance anymore, and I'll tell ya its hot as hell and you love that water even if your not on drugs.

    Wait its not illegal to dance and have fun is it? If so I retract my statement.

    I live in MN and I always had the same thought about doing something such as this. Hummm my computer fits quite nicely in to my window just cut a few holes in the side of the case (not to big its gets windy) maybe find some fine mesh or screen to try to keep other such things out. I have a few old computers that I would't care about loseing and I know one of them can monitor CPU temps. I might try to set this up this winter if I do I'll be sure to take pictures and post up the results I get.
