    Homw much do you charge for /. time? Not trying to flame, but I like my exempt status because it makes the job not about hours, but about production. I've never been a fan of time and materials pay structure because it compensates the slow worker as much as the efficient ones.

    As a libertarian, he would be opposed to the government created monopolies that exist in most every city. How many companies can you buy landline service from? Cable? The reality is that the federal government really doesn't have much say on this. The non-choice issues we face are a state and local issue.

    At least in Ohio, ballot machines are decided on a county by county basis. I live in Geauga county. We use optical scan ballots here.

    Free / open source software is a completely voluntary system, not mandated by any government. That is one of the major reasons it works so well.

    Actually, one. Ohio made it legal to have an open container in limos after some overzealous cops busted some concert goers a few years ago.

    and destroy the profit motive that brings you these drugs. It is not like copyright, at least patents really do expire at some point.
