The sad part is that very few cities in this country have any infrastructure to support you once you arrive via train. Everything around here is built with the car in mind. Add in a sad mentality that public transport is for 'poor people' and there is little chance of any options being successful financially.
One little correction. You need to talk to DSS not DIS. They will have you develop a System Security Plan (SSP) according to the NISPOM chapter 8 guidelines. The approval process is usually pretty lengthy and will require a visit by the DSS reps.
It bears repeating: Don't plan on this happening quickly.
In fact it will take long enough that you should take the time to get a hold of the NISPOM and read and understand it before ordering your system. It is not difficult, just painful.
Well we keep hearing that we need better human intelligence. If we expect that these guys are only going to be saints, they won't be of much use.
I guess that a side effect of training and arming these folks to be effective againt our current enemies is that they are more likely to rise to power at a later time.
So do we give up on getting the intel we need to defeat the current threat because these folks may turn on us later?
Actually, we are worried about one of these coming into our facilites because they contain a cell phone. If it started transmitting it might pick up classified discussions. There was never any discussion among our security people about them possibly being IED's.
This isn't about people trying to do "professional" work. It's about people having the ability to create something that they can show their family and friends. Editing those 100 hours of the baby not doing much into 30 minutes of something worth sharing.
But this is because it is currently not easy or affordable for Joe User. Think of all of the camcorders in use today. If it was readily available, don't you think the masses would love to be able to edit these?
I have to agree. Now if we could make it so Windows games could be run this way on a Linux box, that would be awesome. It would end my need for a Windows partition.
Not that simple. Large corp gives very large bonus to employee on the board (or spread out over all of the board members) who turn around and give large personal donations to party or campaign.
Yeah, more useless tech. Like when the first PC's came out. They were useless then for the average user. (Some would argue they still are useless to the average user...) This is simply technology which needs to mature. There are many areas where this could have a big impact once they have it up to speed.
No, you don't market against a competitor's problems. Every company at some point will run into a problem, even AMD. You advertise that your product is better, as you do every day. You might run a few ads to brind AMD into the minds of people. You let the press and the users groups push the problem into the public eye. The company still gains, yet doesn't look petty in the process.
M$ is not falling because, despite the ruling, nothing is going to be settled for many years. Judge Jackson's findings were so harsh against M$ that the government is in a position to ask for pretty much whatever it wants. M$ is going to let this thing go through the courts, and then appeal the decision. It will likely be appealed to the Supreme Court. We are talking years before this is finished. In the meantime, M$ will continue to be profitable. Hence the near term strength of the stock. My 0.02

That's the reason you kill the missile during boost phase, to keep the bad bits from raining down on your head.
The Goodyear blimps come home with bullet holes all of the time. An airship is a lot more difficult to bring down than you would think.
;)
As long as you don't coat it in rocket fuel of course...

Don't forget that Apple charges exorbitant proces for RAM. Get it third party and save a bunch.
You must work for Lockheed. ;)
If you are really low on cash you can just use the SRD. All of the rules available for free on the web. What a concept...

All of the changes will be freely available in the SRD. So if you don't want to spend the money, you can just reference the rules online.
Or as our riding group likes to say:
You're not paranoid; they really are all out to kill you.
And the 22 was a much better dog-fighter and was closer to the requirements of the military brass...

No, the way things are going it should be "back in the naughties"
