well that was an example. i typicly do 2 sec per field as well the area of work i am in the people filling out the form are normaly are not touch typers
I will agree with the first point.. but i don't like consols.. BUT i will say that board layout almost looks like a work of art instead of something designed for functions.
might have to wait a while say about jsut over a year and see if i can buy a dead one on ebay for nothing so i can hang it on my wall
personaly i just create a time stamp of when the form is sent to the user.. and look at it when i get it back.. if i have a form that has 5 fields and all of them with stuff in them and i only sent you the form 3 seconds ago.. well.. i throw it away.
seems to work well.. I mean have you ever seen someone submit a multi part form in under 10 sec?
Bu the judicial branch can't decied on the laws untill it hits the court room... But remember one new law.. they don't have to let you ever see a court room.. they can hold you without trial or charges for aslong as they fucking want.. the judicial branch can't do shit because that law isn't hitting the court room
I have the feeling that the shuttle is far more than the 5 9's.. if you think about it.. if the airline industry followed 5 9's they would have 1-2 crashs every day.. and that would be withing range..
the diffrence is the people running the election stations.. the people who setup and break down.. they have private access.. and one machine can have thousands of votes that can be changed in a few seconds.. where as a box and ballot's sure someone could start messing with them but they are going to be there alot longer for alot less.
computers let you do alot more alot quicker.. so the time needed is alot less.. It is a big deal... it is all about who you trust.. and if you can't trust the people running the place then what the fuck can you do?
I like ATI mainly because every card is designed for a specific speed.. they all arn't the same damn card over clocked.
But this only applies to built by ATI.. scew the others.. i still can't belive ATI let others build the cards.. *shudders*
the 9600pro is a nice card.. i had one then picked up a x800pro.. on regret is that 3 months after i got it they came out with the x850.. same damn card BUT it supports the 30in Apple display.. the x800 has the dual link dvi but can't handel the res.. the x850 can.. I wish i could just pay the diffrence and switch out but their so called upgrade program is crap
i don't understand what is so scary about it.. i mean if you don't already have the basic knowlege to build a nuke then you havn't even tryied to learn..
the trick with nukes is the ammo.. where are you going to get the fuel for the damn thing??
hell using Plutonium is simple too.. firing it is much harder but very simple in design. but where are you going to get the fuel?
I would be more worried about them buying second hand lost nukes from the USSR than building their own.
now granted if you looke at the Radioactive Boy Scout you realize it is posiable for someone to make fuel if they really wanted to.. it doesn't take millions of dollors to build a nuke.. it just takes time and patience.. the only thing they are doing by pulling stuff like this is preventing people from building highly effecient nukes easily
but it is a question of what is in the lease agreement. if the lease agreement says "that by letting you use this terminal and it's areas that you do not run a open wifi connection that is in avaliable to the public" - then there isn't really anything that the airline could do except either shut it down or move out.
I moved from a small pc shop to a larger company with about 50 people.. i am by my self.. but we are spread out alot.
what you need to is to plann everything. train people that the locations to handel minor things and make them a fire fighting team.. no company is going to complain that you train their people to handel the minor issues so that they don't have to call you. try to make everything in rounds.. if problems can wait let them untill the guys schedualed to come by can get there and have his list and go about his job.
with a good work order system you can plan for the jobs and have job kits for your workers.. a check list... the simple stuff makes all the diffrence.
and if you can put this in place then hiring people to do the work is alot easier as they don't all have to be experts.
also set up remote admin and monitoring.. companies might fight back alittle but make it fit their policies.. because if you can see a problem and fix it before they notice that is a good thing. also if it is something that could be done remotely you don't have to send people out there..
and for the multi server people a single port KVM over IP connected to a normal KVM rocks.. they arn't cheap but if you are making money from them droping the 500$ for a single port KVM over IP isnt' that bad.. also you can get them with modems so you can dial into them.. makes remote admin easy.
make network maps and keep them where everyone can get to them so that you don't have jsut one guy that can work at a specific place because he is the only one that knows how it is done
the fact that it when to the FCC and not just small claims court means more than likly the airline didn't sign something like that.. but with this ruling i am sure that it will be in the next contract when the airline's lease agreement is up.
if you plan on buying a 3000$ TV i hope you don't plan on buying a card with TVOut on it to hook up to it.. any tv that is 3g's should have a damn DVI port or atleast a 15pin dsub vga..
TVout is only needed for composit or svid..
(note that i am not counting component out as TVout because it is never labeled as that is is normaly HD out or Component video out)
yes but if they would build into the ground.. the earth has a constant temp a certian depths. why use energy for air conditioning when the earth will give you a constant temp year round??
it is more a problem in the way socity handles populated areas than it is a lack of energy
"increasing heat requiring air conditioning for survival rather than comfort"
if you are ever in a situation where you feel this is needed.. may i recommed digging a whole.. the land is your friend.. sorry but this is bull shit.. "air conditioning" is always for comfort - you may use it for survival but you are doing wrong.. heat waves that kill people in citys is due to how we build our citys not because they lack a necisity
wait.. 50GB of data.. writen at 52x where x is commonly 150Kb means.. ~6722 seconds = 1h 52min for a single disk.. damn reminds me of my first cd burner.. slow as all fucking get out
well that was an example. i typicly do 2 sec per field as well the area of work i am in the people filling out the form are normaly are not touch typers

well i guess that we need to get that whole robot thing going soon.. so that we can have them vent in unison towards the sun..
personaly i just create a time stamp of when the form is sent to the user.. and look at it when i get it back.. if i have a form that has 5 fields and all of them with stuff in them and i only sent you the form 3 seconds ago.. well.. i throw it away.

damn.. that was a nice job with the sequence of words there.....
yea but you know.. even if it is.. they will dely the release because.. well as sony said.. they like waiting

"itsatrap" is the best... but use sparingly
if you understand every word then why does it matter.. the fact that i can't spell well doesn't change the meaning of the words i write.

this is slashdot.. that depends on what you mean by children..
:)
if it is a question of age then no.. if it is a question of level of bain funcion then well, you might wnat to keep it to your self

I can't believe it.. the FCC did the right thing for once.. I... I am out of words.. lets hope this moment of competency continues.
come on every one join in the song.. "blame Canada... blame Canada"
