    I kinda agree with this.. if a person want to use it and no one else is scheduled to use it they should be allowed to for free as well they paid for it.

    put an excess limit on it and so forth.. but i would love to go out there for a day with my RC plane and have some fun

    It that case i agree it is a creative outlet and i enjoy it alot (i love building with Legos) but that is only one aspect of the game, there is the other side that has goals.

    Acheiving the goals is what makes me want to play the game, the creative aspect lets me enjoy a game more.

    if all there is is a creative side with no goals i would rather be painting.. atleast i have something worth something at the end of the day

    You have to wonder if it is realy worth it..

    all they are doing is waiting to precect the way they can screw their customers, and making them wait for it.

    i realy hope no one buys a PS3, something needs to teach them a lessson

    but what are the goals, the achivements. in sim city it is a task to create a working city (and then demolish it :) but for the sims it is as if people are trying to live out lives via a computer game.

    I like open ended games to a point.. i don't care too much for a game that has no point at all.

    When there isn't a challange is where i see it no longer being a game and more of just a simulation - which makes sence for the sim's but i don't see it as a game

    make real player open up their info too.. seems only fair

    I had never thought of amazon doing something like that.. It would be great but i don't know if it is going to happen i would sure like for it to that is how http://www.magnatunes.com/ works if you order a cd from them .. it is almost as if the cd is the after thought as they are mainly a buy for download music service. I would love to see amazon do that - now if they could only get a site designer that has a clue.. the more links and things that flash at me makes me want to close the window..

    I am the exact opisit..

    My pda is easier on my eyes for reading and jumping to sections isnt' that hard (although i would never ever even thing about using it for a technical book)

    Personaly i like it on the pda because i am dislexic and having a small amount of text on the screen at once makes it alot esier for me to keep track of where i am and not jump around on the page.

    What is holding me back is the DRM crap.. i bought a book from amazon and it took over 6 months for them to reconize that i had already had my pda activated under the account.. and you can't return it.. so i was out money for 6 months before i could download the book.. by then i had already bought the real one and finished it.

    that was the shortest "WE LOVE OUR MINI" blog like post ment to impersonate news i have ever seen.

    i like the mac mini and would love to own one.. but i have a nice xpc set up with an ATI 9600pro and i never had any issues with connecting it to any monitor/tv/hdtv
    and Media center is nice.. it is easy enough for my wife to use it..

    Sure front row for the mini rocks .. and integrates well with the video ipod it IS an Apple product what do you expect.

    i can't belive that crap like this makes it to the front page of slashdot..

    someone wake me up when there is a good review with some meat and like systems.

    I just picked a corner in the server room.. set up two 8ft folding tables.. used some extra file lockers as a rear wall and moved in..

    everything i need is right here. shure it is a little noisy and cold.. but who cares.. no one really bothers me

    yea i know things change.. but it sadens me that they never think about heat till after the fact. sure they are making better eforts now but it still isn't enough..

    kinda like cars and their gas milage.. i see advertizements for cars with ~30 mpg and i just laugh.. i have a >30 year old MG that can do that..

    the Tualatins is a Coppermine with increased L2 size.. no change in the core other than the L2 addressing. as for the Pentium M's they have a nice power to preformace ratio but from what i have used they are not nearly as fast clock for clock.
