From that link the 737 has a pretty good record. Better than the A300 and MUCH better than the A310. The 300/400/500 models are about equal to the A319/320/321.

And the Concorde looks like suicide, but the total flights number is much smaller.

Something else to keep in mind, the fatal accident rate per person-mile traveled of all of these models are waaaay lower than the US interstate system.

No, the A-10 does not have electrical flight control actuators. It has two seperate hydraulic systems and a manual (wire and pulley) backup.

The lack of an accurate bombing computer is NOT a feature, it was a cost saving measure. The reason it could be accurate is flies SLOW and had to fly at much lower altitudes... which is also why they were exposed to so much ground fire. It also is what limits the A-10 in this current world of near-precision cheap JDAMs. It doesn't have the electronics needed to interface with JDAMs to "hot load" target coordinates. This is changing with the A-10C, but it took a significant chunk of money to get that capability.

The 'Hawg was designed to inflict as much damage to Rooskie tanks as possible once they swarmed through the Fulda Gap in Europe. And it is one hell of a CAS airplane, especially with the amazing GAU-8 cannon system!

It's major failing is speed, even with the C model. An F-15E of F-16 can be where the air support is needed much faster than an A-10, they just don't have the oomph to hustle up to a target when it is really needed.

Guess what? The Creative Zen series is now infested with DRM and has lost features as well. I know because I got f%$^ed buying a Zen Sleek. And on the box it says "Win98/ME/2K/XP compatible". Great, I'm running Win2k. Get home and try to install the required interface software (no UMD device here, oh no). The installer comes up with "Incorrect Operating System". I say WTF? Double check the box "Win98/ME/2K/XP compatible". WTF again. Go to the Creative site, download the software from there, same s$%&. Email Creative asking WTF. Get a response 2 days later saying "To properly support PlayForSure the Zen product you purchased is only supported by Media Player 10, which requires Windows XP".

So I go back to the store I bought it and returned it, bought a NON-PlayForS$%t iRiver player instead. The funniest part was that the Zen Sleeks on the shelf when I went back had a sticker over the requirements on the back covering up the O/S section, it now says "Windows XP" only. Asses.

Useless trivia fact: while the F-15 can perform this maneuver, the F-16 lacks the thrust/mass ratio to sustain that climb for more than a second or two.

    Totally wrong.

F-15C max take off weight (MTOW): 68,000 lbs. F100-PW-220 engines max thrust in full AB: 23,830 lbs x 2 = 47,660 lbs.

F-16C MTOW: 37,500 lbs. GE F110-GE-129 max thrust in full AB: 29,000 lbs.

With a standard fuel/weapons load (which is lower than the MTOW) the F-15 and F-16 have about the same thurst to weight ratio, and both can pull some eye-watering "max performance" climbs. Of course the F-22 leaves them both in the dust.
