It is easier in some cases to make a left turn onto a busy street when you can see over vehicles that are parked too close to the corner.
Same thing for seeing that pedestrian trying to cross the street - it's easier to spot that person in the case where there is a vehicle that is blocking your view and you can see over it...
Easier to spot your vehicle in a crowded parking lot too maybe...?
This guy has a lot to say - if you are into work just for the money, go become a doctor, lawyer or plumber - although, any one of these 3 can save your ass!!!
Sorry, the interface just does not appear ok with me. Seems very clunky and unusable. Not sure why Microsoft would do this - seriously. Just wanted tabbed browsing added and some decent errors for users (does have this).

The first part may only applies to Canadians, but there might be some equal way to do this for non - Canadians...
In the years before attending college, if possible, invest in an RRSPs partially in dividend paying funds and partially in money market funds. When you do get the tax refund and GST rebate, send it straight to a ING Direct (http://www.ingdirect.ca) account. When attending college, draw from these funds as needed.
As for living frugally, go without driving - cycle if possible as it would save on parking, maintenance, insurance, gas and give you daily exercise.
