Note to would-be evil geniuses: put your bombs in shells made of irradiated cobalt isotopes, it may disable would-be bomb-disposal robots and personnel before they can do anything about it. Radiation labs will get a free test of their security measures and delivery tubes out of the deal There is no way a bomb circuit could withstand that radiation it melted plastic I'm sure your circuit board would become a puddle of radio active goo. Not to mention you would need multiple robots to assemble and place said bomb unless you can build a bomb and place it in less than 30 seconds.

  5. Re:Would you want to be a female in a CS class? on Gender Gap in Computer Science Growing · · Score: 1

The fact that being in CS classes is hard on a female is nonsense. Fist they can get any guy to drop what their doing and help them at a bat of an eyelash. Second any attractive femal will be hit on in class, it just so happens that most CS majors are socialy inept an have no A game, it's painful to watch at times. If women avoided learning because they were getting hit on then they would not finish highschool unless they were very unhot. Most hot girls are good at getting what they want and don't mind being hit on to get it and only the smart ones figure this out and enter the field.

I think what the MPA wants a piece of the karaoke money. This is possibly the only way to make money off the words of songs. I for one would be glad if karaoke would die because of this. When I'm drowning my sorrows at the local water hole the last thing i want to hear is an off tune drunken idiot.

I like the idea of stock market songs I could be one of the first to purchase the song for $.99 and then could sell it back for $1.25. I'm sure I could write a simple script that would purchase new songs by popular artists at since price would be based on sales and make a fortune. By the way I am patiening the idea of creating a script or a program to purchase online music and then resell it at the ceiling price.

The problem is microsoft is selling the product as a working product. Just because they have got away with this with other products dosn't mean it's all right. They did not inform the consumer of the defect or offer any replacements at no cost to the user. They hurried problematic product to market and now their going to pay the price. Even if microsoft buys off the courts and wins it's going to cost them and they'll lose customers.

Lawyers like to pile extra stuff on just in case they can convince the judge of wrong doing. The EULA has a clause that attempts to protect sony from their liability, but fortatnly most good lawyers can argue that the EULA was not disclosed before the purchase, so the EULA is just there to discourage/intimidate customers from suing sony. Sony better hope that this issue dosn't get put before a jury because it will be real easy to scare them into thinking sony was being malicious.
