  1. I don't know why it would be a conspiracy theory. The Soviet Union was a totally closed society, especially around that time, the space programme was very important in terms of prestige and propaganda and they weren't going to, and didn't, tell anyone about their failures. Gagarin was just the success we heard about, and given its importance in history I doubt we will ever know if they had tried and failed before.

  2. The fact that Musk did this tells you how important the share price is to Tesla.

I'm afraid you're rather misinformed about British foreign policy over the past several hundred years. That is to ensure it stays as disunited as possible. Britiain's membership of the EC, common market and those that followed was all part of that strategy.

  6. Indeed. The monetary system we have, quantitative easing and easy money perpetuates it. These people can be exceptionally rich without having any actual skills or any redeeming features whatsoever to show for it.

People like David Icke reckons these people are lizards. In a manner of speaking they are. Their brains are certainly wired very differently to any normal person with empathy.

They've taken on far too much. The Model 3 should have happened right after the Roadster, and they should simply have iterated over it, increasing quality and reducing costs over time. The Model S, and especially the Model X, have been extremely costly and pointless diversions. Launching new models is something you do when you can put in the kind of capital investment major vehicle manufacturers are able to pump in.

Their financial accounting is creative to say the least, even by normal standards these days. This thing is a runaway train in terms of cash burn now. It's doubtful they will ever make themselves profitable to arrest it.

Tesla is the last car company left in California, because costs are so high.

It's very clear what he's saying there. He also doesn't deny anything else, such as mandatory overtime. That's the classic way companies worldwide are now getting around minimum wages and cutting corners - by making you work more than your 'official' hours for the same money. H1B visas work on exactly that principal, so wait until Trump gets around to them ;-).
