Excellent points raised, I'd mod you up if I could. I also hate Channel 10's contempt for it's viewers when they drag a show out for up to half an hour after the scheduled finish (invariably reality TV dross), or how they chop punchlines or sight-gag conclusions halfway through to run THE SAME FUCKING ADS THEY PLAYED LESS THAN TEN MINUTES AGO. But the thing I hate the most, and this is spreading across all networks, is how they run SELF PROMOTING ADVERTISMENTS over the CREDITS of the FUCKING MOVIE we've just been WATCHING, TOTALLY SPOILING THE CLOSING ATMOSPHERE.
Lashings of SHAME also on SBS, the only network actually worth watching, who have decided to CASH IN and run FUCKING AD BREAKS DURING SHOWS. FUCK FUCK FUCK.
A smarter and better option is to increase R & D into renewable energy. My employer's father (and the company founder) converted internal combustion engines to run off coal during WWII out of sheer necessity. Not a minor engineering feat. Performing this on a widespread scale carries far less insight than developing new technology, such as hydrogen.
Or a beowulf cluster of sharks with those light 'puter things strapped on, coming from Soviet Russia where beowulf shark light 'puter thingys process... oh forget it.
Nope. Cars are better to travel in under some circumstances, such as long distances (say, >30klm, depending on fitness), or inclement weather. For the majority of urban commuters, bicycles are much faster than driving, and the health benefits far outweigh the supposed comfort factor. Even walking to the bus stop or train station is a healthier option than driving, especially if you are unable to change your clothes (though I can't for the life of me work out why one couldn't change their clothes somewhere at their workplace...).
I NEED to drive a Ferrari. Really, I do. It'll get me to work much quicker and in more style than my Holden. But I can't afford a Ferrari. So I use an alternate tool. There's always another way to get the job done.
I agree MS are crooks, and have held the industry to ransom for way too long. So stop using their software. I did.
I even took up running until shin splints made it too painful to sustain
Get yourself a bicycle. Fantastic low impact fun, and a great way to loose weight, especially if you ride with someone. It hurts a bit at first, but stick with it, you'll feel great. Find a course with less vehicular traffic until you're more experienced and go for it!
Trouble is, they also need labor for (almost) free to be profitable. And disposal of toxic waste for free. And dumping of non-recyclable parts for free. That's why this mostly happens in third world countries, where they have super-cheap labor with appalling working conditions, and don't care about dumping toxic and non-reusable parts in the river.
That's funny, sometimes my wife makes more than I do. Last year she bought me a Rolex and a $4500 bicycle. I love my wife. Maybe I'll marry her some day.

Fabienne: Where's my Honda?
JohnnyGTO: Sorry baby but I had to crash that Honda...
So tell us about your GTO!
Problem is, the sysadmins would have trouble getting their argument for new hardware across when they all sound like chipmunks!
I'll ask and post a reply when he arrives later.
Well, I thought it was funny :(
Good point, thanks.

Woah! You may not need instructions on how to ROCK, but you sure need instructions on how to CHILL!

Excellent, well done. The answer to many of the problems faced by a modern urban society is sitting there, quietly gathering dust in the garage.

...to the phrase "Your mother's an astronaut!"
Nah, take it from an Australian - that should be "Wanna write a f@#kn' letter? Well? Do ya c*nt??"
Wow! Someone got out of bed on the wrong side this morning! Phew! Take a chill pill, bro!
Flamebait? No. Coincidence? Maybe. If you can't mod appropriately, then post a reply.
Nope, the "adjusters" just ran out of democrat-vote-leak plugging fingers.

Thank you. Well said.

One would assume their system logs the date and time of the failed validation. I wonder if they are logging the IP address as well?
