The transmission is still vulnerable. Until a truly secure solution for encryption is developed, sensitive information will still have the capability of interception. At least in the way of one-time passwords, we're still relatively safe from double-fronted SSL/TLS _and_ SMS attack/interception. The self-destructing password would be useful in this facet of password security.

Would it now be considered viral marketing on Lucasfilm's part to place a lightsaber how-to in an otherwise factually sound encyclopediac (sp?) site, or yet just another clever application of geek humor? Should our feelings on this Wiki entry == feelings about the HSW article?

I don't want to start a holy war here, but what is the deal with you Mac fanatics? I've been sitting here at my freelance gig in front of a Mac (a 8600/300 w/64 Megs of RAM) for about 20 minutes now while it attempts to derive some simple HTML from a 17MB Word file in Dreamweaver MX. 20 minutes. At home, on my Pentium Pro 200 running NT 4, which by all standards should be a lot slower than this Mac, the same operation would take about 2 minutes. If that. Try resetting your DW preferences to "default" and convert again. Tables and everything..
