I have not seen it so maybe I am wrong. Maybe it exposes him as a fake. They describe it as a "factual based drama" but I have the feeling they take the popular route. I just looked at the science of prediction section and they talk about astrology and lucky charms.

Not to say that it wasn't a bad thing but calling it a disaster seems like FUD to me. From wikipedia...

The scientific community is largely agreed on the effects of the Three Mile Island accident. The consensus is that no member of the public was injured by the accident. "The average radiation dose to people living within ten miles of the plant was eight millirem, and no more than 100 millirem to any single individual. Eight millirem is about equal to a chest X-ray, and 100 millirem is about a third of the average background level of radiation received by US residents in a year.

Usage Note: Allude and allusion are often used where the more general terms refer and reference would be preferable. Allude and allusion normally apply to indirect references in which the source is not specifically identified.

Considering that a headache is not an emergency but the cause may be, I would like my prognosis now please.

Actually I built my own computer and had to install windows myself. There was some driver updating to be done but it still basically worked out of the "box" and the few things I had to do by hand was a matter of finding the .exe file on the mfg website. I'm not saying that Ubuntu should be as easy or that it sucks because I had to do work. I'm just saying I am a busy person and don't have time to learn everything. After finding a website about the xorg file (and corrupting it a few times) I at least learned something.... but decided to go back to windows for the time being.

To be fair, I needed to plug a wired keyboard to boot into windows from grub and my rabbit chewed though the wire while my back was turned. That and I had a fight with my gf and it was 2am. All I wanted was my computer to go back to booting windows automatically and silently. When I have time I will go back and play with it.

And thanks to robinvanleeuwen for the posts. I'll look closer at them when I have time.

I decided to try Ubuntu (my first unix experience) two days ago. I spent two days trying to get it to use a proper aspect ratio for my main monitor and to use my second monitor as anything but a clone of the first monitor. All I could do was the former. I may go back to it someday to play but I just spent the evening learning how to get grub to boot into windows automatically and to hide the grub menu. Granted there may be an easy solution to all unix problems but they are not intuitive. I love (and use) many open source programs but until I have 9-5 job, I don't have the time to learn even Ubuntu.

Because there is no evidence for it. Scientists don't want to prove that God doesn't exist or that he isn't responsible for evolution but since you can't prove if he exists or had a hand in anything it becomes a non-issue. We (IAAS) aren't going to make up evidence but we aren't going to make any spiritual claims either. We deal in facts and want to keep it that way. When someone asks what my beliefs are I say that I would be an athiest if there was any proof God doesn't exist.

The Seattle 1000 is designed to dive to 305 meters, or 1000 feet. This is an optimum compromise that allows exploration at significant depth but also allows us to have very large viewports for exceptional visibility. If necessary, a small deep submersible could be carried "piggy back" by the Seattle, allowing a small group of 2-3 people to board the deep submersible through a transfer lock and dive to depths of up to 3000 meters or more.
