A recall actually requires the old product to be returned. They are simply providing replacement straps, they don't want the originals back. It's a replacement.

The cell phone move makes perfect sense. It still sets up GMail to be kind of exclusive in the fact that its not rediculously easy to get. They're just trying to protect their service from being a haven for spammers. One cell phone, one account. What else could you use like this? It may be wierd, but it makes sense to me. Back in the day I could (and did) make several hotmail accounts when I didn't want to be traced or I wanted to harass someone. GMail is making their services pure by using this verification scheme, which is refreshing. Please. Propose an alternative.

I believe its the change of communications channel and the freedom away from our cable providers. With to move to IPTV, the medium (the internet) is already provided. What you're actually paying for is the content. It's just a simpler way of doing things.

I aggree with stevo a bit on this topic, even if he is saying it in the wrong way.

I think what he is actually saying is that education will not make your life for you, you have to do it yourself.

It's kinda true, everyones parents ship them out to university to get an education and to start a good career. However, all education does is give you the tools you need. If you never use them, your education is wasted. What drives me crazy is the people that go away to university/college for a random degree, to get some education. Waste of their parents money so they could go party and later drop out.

University is great and all, but only go if you really need it. Anything else is an excuse to stall your life/get away from home.

The signing of open-source packages are to prevent download corruption usually. If a download is corrupted, the data will be different, and hence the hash will be different. Most of these attacks are malicious in that you have to go great lengths to find a collision to use. If your connection corrupts the download in such a way to produce a collision, your modem obviously hates you.
