Come on anyone who is a nerd knows that fake sugar is actually 100's sweeter than anything that mother nature can put out. So much so that they actually have to cut the stuff and they are harmless. One of those weird but true facts.
I seem to always go to yahoo.com when ever I search for something and rarely use any other search engine like google. I have no idea though because personally I don't care what search engine Im using but I do usually default to yahoo first.
We now have fearless mice, mice that are stronger, mice brain cells that are able to control plane simulators, and mice that we can remote control. What ever happened to the normal mice that my cats ate?? Im not saying it's a bad thing but it's odd how every month there is a mouse that is doing something new.
I remember last year I was using Microsoft excel to record data for a physics lab. Somehow there was a major error that resulted in XP rebooting itself. Now tell me again how this stuff seems to happen to Microsoft haters. I was neutral until the dam computer rebooted itself at the most horrible moment ever.
Now why would you allow to publish such inconclusive studies at all ? Is this journal peer-reviewed ? It would be interesting to see if they also publish the comments from the anonymous reviewers ? Did they agree about the paper before it got published ?
You see it was fairly conclusive though after they omitted the whole part about people dropping dead....

An entire multi-national corporation brought down by Microsoft's TrackChanges feature...
Im sure a large group of people on slashdot would also like to see Microsoft be brought down by their TrackChanges feature also. This is a horribly bad joke and I doubt anyone is going to find it funny....
You had a better chance to get read in 1997 by posting to Usenet than you do in 2005 posting to Slashdot.
What how do you explain all of the moderator points that people give me?? It means that people read my posts expecially when I say something a little procative.
What risk? Oh, wait, you mean the risk that the crackpots that the "opposition" digs up saying that a cyclotron could blow all of alaska to kingdom come could actually be right
Nah.. You are wrong. The crackpots believe that we can create a blackhole that will destroy the entire earth.
It really works too unfortunately,

I can't get this dam song out of my head about snells. Signing n sub 1 sin theta sub 1 signing n sub 2 sin theta sub 2. Gosh darn it. I don't even remember the entire sign only the dam formula. Anway, here is a website from which I found the songs. http:http://www.haverford.edu/physics-astro/songs/ > Ps. I just had one of those I have no life epathanies.
Any time we think that we can really have a big impact on nature, we're proven wrong. We've spent billions of dollars on levees for New Orleans, yet one small category 3 hurricane is all it takes to breech them. We build sea walls to hold back the ocean, yet after one or two powerful storms they disappear with little or no evidence they ever existed. Tsunamis can level entire coastlines.
I like how you used the levees as an example of natures surpemacy. Really how stupid we can be. The levees from what I remember were well within specs for meeting the disaster. The only problem is that there was a canal that amplified the storm surge and basically broke the levees. No canal no levee breach.
oh come on Zonk, that reads like a commercial, at least cut that bit out. I love Nintendo, but that last bit made me feel ashamed to read games.slashdot.org.
Can't you see sarcasm when you see it????? It's an interesting concept but it deserves to be made fun of.
These tasks are probably much more complex than the Ansari X prize... which rewarded 40 times this much. Offering $250K is insane. Stupid. Insanely Stupid.
Nah the telerobotics competition is easy when you tend to think about the problem for a while. You have to remember that with the time delay from the earth to the moon it's still possible to control a vehicle via remote control. It's annoying but still not within the realm of doable. In fact the Russians did that with one of their probes.

Look, most toys with built-in LCD screen cost more then $100, and they have far less features and spec's then what the MIT group. I have yet to see a portable DVD player under $100 worth is weight in salt.
Actually, it may not even be an LCD screen. It could be an electronic ink device which actually would serve to decrease energy consumption. I have actually seen this technology at work and while the screens are black and white they work very well.

I remember the small capacitors that you can find in radio shack made a large sound that reminded me of a small hand fireworks.
Yeah but it rebooted after excel gave an error message. Then it gave another error message saying we are rebooting your computer.

Im sorry but I was thinking of something completely different. You are right.
I remember the article you are talking about and this is not even close. All I can remember it involved mice and remote controling them.
Believe it or not... There exact words were,"Hey. It's picking the car up faster."

I have never heard of NASA actually stealing technology from someone to use of their probes nor searching multiple topics turned up nothing.
