Indeed, i should have mentioned this specifically. The pocket browser on here is amazing. It even beats the mobile version of Opera by a long-shot. Mostly in how it *doesn't* render pages "properly". When absolute widths are specified, it will automatically minimize them so that no column of text is wider than the screen, meaning: no side scrolling, this and about 1000 other little tiny things makes this the absolutely best mobile browser i've ever used.
Have to wholeheartedly agree. I have an E61 (not an E62) that I absolutely love. I've not had any problems with this phone at all (save getting it to sync when I first got it -- there was no sync software (for OSX) at all since it was too-new but that was solved by time)
There are a few differences here. In 24, we are talking about a short-term situations, terrorists are going to (detonate nuclear weapon|release deadly (nerve gas|virus)). I really would not object to what needs to be done to defend against a clear and present danger. What I do object to is this program of blanket survaliance. In addition, the most important thing for me is quite simple. I trust Jack Bauer. I would trust Jack Bauer with my life. I don't trust Bush. I wouldn't trust this idiot to hold a cup of coffee without spilling it. I believe that when Jack Bauer tortures someone, or Jack Bauer wiretaps a phone without due process he does it because he has no other alternative. I believe that when this president tortures people, or orders illegal wiretaps he does it because he can, in a very capricious way with no regard for the law, or for life.
I bought an unbranded SLVR and it does everything you want, except it's not 3G. It is however a very nice phone. It's eminetnly capable, Motorola phones have a large userbase and are rather hackable. I was able to use VirtualPC to put iTunes on the phone and perform other various hacks. It works great as a modem to use with my t-mobile plan (20/month for unlimited data). I like bluetooth, and like not having to carry one more cable, even if I do usually carry that cable for charging purposes, I don't want to be fucked if I forget the cable at home. Hence, bluetooth is basically a must for me. As well, I use my HS850 with my phone, so having bluetooth is equally important for that. GPRS can be a bit slow, but for what I use it for (IM, SSH, very light web) it works fine, the latency over SSH is more of an issue, but EDGE and EVDO do not solve either. (just becuase it's faster doesn't mean it has less latency). Overall, I am particularly happy with my setup.
I suspect we will have a substantial volume as this is located in suburban New Jersey and will attract more visitors than the middle of some frozen tundra.
Will the north pole melt? I can have a suitably large refrigeration device constructed if necessecary.
the list of domain names is a list of domains that spammers can't send email to not a list of spammer domain names. Look at this. If spammers send email TO these domains they will get fined 11k, not if they send them from those domains. Blah, yet another story slashdot mangled, does noone proofread stories before they go out, or are all the moderators too busy tripping over each other to get the moderator equivlent of "first post".
pornography isn't illegal. So why did you lump it in with those other illegal things? Do i sense some serious sexual repression on your part, yes I do.

The security lapse isn't with bad software, it's with bad policy and hapless users. If you connect to a fraudlent base station, then you can intercept banking passwords even on with connections that use end-to-end encryption. Why, and why isn't this protected. Simple. If you connect to a website, even the most-secure site in the world using SSL. If there is something wrong with the SSL certificate you will be presented with a dialog asking you if you want to accept the certificate. 99% of people blindly click yes, because clicking no means that it "wont work" and clicking yes means it "will work". So to the average user there is no downside to clicking yes and a large downside to clicking no. Enough with the psychology though. Once you have clicked yes on this dialog the entire chain of communication is now suspect. You cannot be sure that there is not someone sniffing your connection. Even if you check the certificate and everything looks OK (Sane information in text fields) you still can't be sure that it's valid unless you compare the signature of the SSL certificate with a known-good one. So, the real danger here lies in unsigned SSL certificates and hapless users. This type of attack is just as easy to orchestrate (if not easier) by associating with any wireless access point and spoofing dns or even on a wired network.
What kind of cheese? I mean this sounds like it might work with a good cheddar cheese. But it would probably suck with a gorgonzola or other sharp cheese.
Very similar to what I use, but port is expensive. I use muscatel or similar cheap wines. I generally leave out the rasins and the almonds. And I Always use fresh orange peel. It's very good like that. The recipie I use also has alot more sugar.
Caution: Fire is dangerous in the hands of folks who have had a few slugs of glogg. Have a fire extinguisher ready or invite a fireman to the party. He'll know what to do in case of rash behavior. Beyond funny. Your grandma wrote you this?
You speak like a drunk person, let's just clear that one up. Second, we drink because it's fun. Why don't you drink? It's not about having to drink, it's about wanting to drink. It's not like we are out every single night getting plastered (speaking for myself) but every once and a while I personally like to get thoroughly plastered. There is nothing wrong with this so long as you don't engage in otherwise socically irresponsble behaviors (IE driving drunk). Drinking is not the cause of such behaviors, for someone to drink and drive they must have an inherient character flaw that allows them to have such a reckless disregard for human life.
But, what would christmas be if we don't degenerate into a shouting match about Politics, Religion or some other topic that decent people avoid when in sober polite company? I honestly would not want to participate in such a christmas.... I would still want the gifts, but I would refuse to participate!
I have to admit, i am puzzled by why people say christmas is about religion. I mean, jesus was born in march. Any/.tter know why relgion is such a hipocrisy?

I hereby submit this as the least commented story ever.
Either the subject is just painfully boring or we are having another power outage.....

So, by this logic, since you've been modded up to 5 you have become weaker than I can possibly imagine?

actually, the bank of new york, http://www.bnyonline.com/ does.
Yes, they suck.
No, i'm not a customer of theirs anymore.
Actually, The iTrip needs to be between 50-70% of volume to work well.
I rarely use my iPod below 70% volume with the earbuds.
actually, sometimes you get a special cookie that gives you tracking URLs on search results pages.
