  1. Washington DC based? on Transforming Waste Plastic Into $10/Barrel Fuel · · Score: 1
Hmm, I wonder why a company of this type would want to be "Washington DC based."

You could just drag the image you want onto the desktop, or directly into the finder window you want to keep it in. At least it works that way in OSX.

Looks to me like a computer is the greatest part of that admission price. The camera (assuming the computer didn't come with one) is just an extra fee.

Hulu has a choice: They can provide a good assortment of content playing by the content provider's rules, or they can provide very little content any way they damn well please. So far, evidence shows that Hulu has made the right choices.

If you don't back up your hard drive, you lost much more than your music, so it's ok that you can't recover music from your ipod? Jesus. I'm all for brand loyalty and everything, but let's give discredit where discredit is due.

It has nothing to do with the brand. They don't market their player as a backup system (although you can use it as an external drive.) Music is data, just like the rest of the stuff on your hard drive. If you choose not to back up your data, don't bitch at others about it. Hell, iTunes even has a backup method for your music in the application itself. How many more hints does a person need?

Also, last I checked, it's impossible without the help of 3rd party software to (easily) recover music from your iPod in the event of your computer's hard drive failing.

You don't back up your hard drive? Then you lost much more than your music.
