Don't worry about it. All the politicians out here in Washington state are a bunch of retards that couldn't legislate themselves out of a cardboard box. I swear, the only body of legislators that I am aware of that could be any worse are two doors south of here...
People who bought more home than they could afford because they are idiots and "didn't know better" deserve to have their homes foreclosed. This would allowing people like me, who have been waiting until they can afford to, buy a home at a reasonable price. If the US cannot support three auto companies then let them die. The whole point of this capitalism BS is that the private sector takes all the risk. To all you greedy middle-class wanks, thanks for thinking you could play in the same league as the wealthy. They will always crush us. Best to just mind your own damn business and not try to over stretch yourself.
Dear FCC, I don't want to pay more for my phone. Please remove the surcharge and let competition rule. Thanks.
John
You would think that if that is one of their biggest complaints, so much so that they include it as an example of how to properly fill out a form, then they would at least consider getting rid of those pesky surcharges.
Wouldn't the most logical solution be to have the playback device apply it's own compression, perhaps even adjusting for ambient noise levels. The signal you buy on a CD should be the best quality signal they can give you. If you want it loud enough to play in your car, you car stereo/iPod/8-track should handle it for you. Additionally, when you convert to a lossy format, you should be able to determine the level of compression you want. Have it default to something crappy for all the teeny-boppers. There's no reason.
To be honest, after buying "Stadium Acradium" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers I've decided to not buy any more of their music until someone bitch-slaps Rick Rubin and he starts producing music that I can bear to listen. Two discs worth of loud noise is too much.
It isn't very big/powerful. I'm not too concerned. I also live MANY miles away. Up wind. On the other side of the Rockies. What could possibly go wrong?
Last I heard from my buddy, they kept blowing out power converters/relays/Jeffry's Tubes? or something (he's an EE, not a nuke tech) and that was occupying his time. I guess he's been busy trying to get things online. Might explain him falling off the face of the earth.
Have you tried CLAWPACK, unless you aren't really solving a hyperbolic problem? Disclamer: I recieved my M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington and CLAWPACK was written by R.J. Leveque, a professor in that department.
Is it wrong to even consider voting for someone with completely opposite morals as I so long as they promise to continue funding naval research? Probably not something of which to be proud. This capitalist tendency be damned!
A look at last year's paper listed in the article reveals they use the MM5 model. I doubt they switched from it in the time between that paper being submitted and the new one to come out next month.
I've had that phone for years, and am only now going to replace it with something that doesn't die randomly. It was even a hand-me-up from my little sister. People usually have two comments:
"Oh, how cute." (green face plate)
or
"Dear god that's a huge phone." 4.59 oz ~130g
As much as I love it's features, it's time to put it to rest. If only I could find a decent replacement for Card Deck (Solitaire Games) for my new Nokia 6103. I think the biggest issue for me will be getting used to sending SMS without the lovely circular keypad. I got used to it quickly and haven't looked back, until now.
If you have five women, and one of them is hot and four are not (1:4), that is 20%, kind of like odds at gambling. Come to think of it, if you had five women you probably are not a trekkie or at a trek convention...
Unison is what you want for software on a mac. I love it. I even paid for my copy;) Way better than Thoth, which is what I used to use years ago. I'm not sure about websites that tell you what's online. What I have seen don't work very well.
So far, I have found few phones as functional as my (old) Nokia 3650, and it's broken. Is an iPhone a phone for me?
Amen, brother. My 3650 is still kicking ass. People still tell me it's such a cool phone when I whip it out. It's a bit old and slow now, but no idea with what to replace it.
just a thought, but why not use MATLAB. You can sometimes use it to make stand-alone programs and maybe even DLLs. then add it to your code. I help develop code for a Cray X1 and all visualization (for my project) is done locally using MATLAB. It's pretty beefy, but it'll make a contour plot.
I think Opera lives on a DS sized card, like any normal DS game, and then a memory card (8MB?) gets plugged in to the front where you can plug in old GBA cartridges.

They charge $188 for the keyboard and mouse. I think we're seeing the "Cray Tax" (TM).
;)
Apple has so much to learn
I believe you are referring to Shel Silverstein
I thought the real question was "Will it blend?"

These waves are called Rossby or planetary waves, in case anybody here wants to look into it further.

Playing Beethoven loud enough to anger the neighbors is the appropriate action.
Mmm, I love me some Naval funding. Pays my rent.

This guy loses. Global warming is obviously a lie.

"Numerical Recipes in FORTRAN"
There, fixed it for you.
No wonder I like it so much, and it looks like someone shrunk my MacBook. Where's Wayne Szalinski? I need to shake his hand.
wft, mate. not everybody uses windows.

Sounds like a primary ballot to me, so you would have to pick one party in most states.
It probably isn't pink, but couldn't they just get Yoshimi to battle the robot?
