maybe this time they could bring a telescope and learn how to use a camera. That way they could take picture of the stars. A glorious starry night which was never shown. Because they never went to the moon.

Time To Dump XP?

The rationale behind sticking with XP is simple: it allows us to use our PCs as they are (a mix of laptops and desktops). On our 5-year-old machines WinXP runs ok, whereas Win7 would crawl instead.
Also, add the cost of reinstalling ALL our programs and reconfiguring the machines... We simply cannot afford such a cost right now. I hear many smaller companies are in the same situation. There's a double-dip recession out there ya'know?

Hellooo??!!!
Do you really think they took rovers with them but not a single telescope and did not take any picture of the stars?
Hellooo??!!!
Is anybody out there with a sane mind?
YES, NASA did downgrade the images sent to the world by the media.
Guess why.
I have been asking myself the same question lately. Try disabling the swapping altogether or set the page file size to zero and see what happens.:-)
The mechanism must be there to ensure applications get the required memory. Any amount of memory will always be too tight for somebody (ask BGates).
Still, I can see where you are coming from and I agree, there should be a way to get rid of the functionality if all you crave is speed of execution and system performance.
How can users of Apple's equipment correctly dispose of the battery?
The battery on quite a few ipods, iphones, etc. seems to be an integral part of the equipment.
NOT VERY GREEN TO ME, APPLE!
They are becoming worse than Big Blue used to be in the 80s..
Hello America..
it's Kilo meters per hour.
This and the original article seem to assume the unit is meters, by specifying Kilo only.
Why levitate on a speedy train if you do not even know the basics for measuring your speed?
