1: Don't use the internet. Rather that be e-mail, web pages, internet bank.
2: Don't use mobile phone of any type. Dumb-phones can be tracked just as easy as smartphones.
3: Don't use credit or debit card of any type. Since most of us need bank account. Get one that is not connected to any debit or credit card. Pay cash only. But be advised that still leaves you up to tracking. Since all stores and banks have security cameras that can be used to track you if needed.
4: Don't buy electricity or anything off companies. This is hard to avoid.
5: Live remote and not connected to anything. Then you might avoid being on the grid 99,95% of the time. I do think it is close to impossible to fall 100% of the grid due to the nature of the modern world.

The other option is to mix in with the grid in such a way that you don't get detected. That however does not matter if the authorities are tracking you activity. Since one spot (or "unit" as they prefer to call it) can be tracked easy if needed. Be that over banks, phone or internet. They got the hardware for this ability about 13 years ago. It has only been growing since then.

Not AC, since it would not have mattered anyway.

  15. Subscription model on Retail Copies of Office 2013 Are Tied To a Single Computer Forever · · Score: 1

This is called subscription business model. This is nothing else. Next you have to renew your licence every x/month for your office to work. Same goes for Windows. They are close to do this in Windows 8. I am sure it is going to be fully implemented in Windows 9 or 10. This is not a question of "if". This is a question of "when" Microsoft sees this plan trough.

I am sure that current recession has delayed this plans for some months now. But they are going to be activated soon.

Why do people think Microsoft has included DRM infested boot in UEFI. Specially designed to lock the computer up-on online command (preventing active booting). I am sure all the sub-systems are in place for Windows 8. Just inactive as for now.

The fix for this is not to use Windows, Microsoft Office or any product that demands this licence compliance. It is also worth noting that just the saving in terms of money by not using Windows is high. It is also more secure not to use Windows or Microsoft software in companies.

I am not totally free from using Windows my self. I need it to play few computer games. But I do not plan to go above Windows 7 or at the best. I am never going to stop using Windows XP (even after Microsoft kills the support for it). The only issue I have with is new hardware and Windows XP drivers (+3GB ram limit in Windows XP). So I guess that I am going to use Windows 7 for gaming usage for a long time once I have a gaming computer.

Saying that they are going to do something does not equal that they are actually going to do so.

Windows phones are not user friendly. There user screen cannot be properly configured (as with other mobile phones today). They have no options of setting a background image. They are hard to configure, missing features that have existed for years on Symbian, Android and Apple. It is battery unfriendly by nature (a lot of power usage).

For this reason I am never going to buy a Windows phone. I rather move to Android. But I would prefer to continue to use Symbian. But that is not a option I am afraid of. Since Nokia has almost been destroyed by the Microsoft zetaloid that was hired by Nokia board few years ago. But he did work for Microsoft, so he going for Windows Mobile is no surprise at all.

Nokia is going to be missed if it goes bankrupt. The lesson here is however is that never go into a deal with Microsoft. It is going to ruin our company in a record amount of time. It is a fact and a rule. I did see a list of companies that Microsoft made bankrupt with there bad deals. Too bad I can't find at the moment.
