Ironically, their method sounds a bit like safedisc. You know...encrypt the executable file? But how does it work? When someone changes their email address, does that change follow with this? I'm guessing potentially not.
It's quite simple, you deauthenticate the file and then authenticate it again with your new email address.
Thats the major point here that those other systems don't have:
"It opens the door to gamers being able to resell their games because users can voluntarily disable their game access and transfer their license ownership to another user."
Of course, this could also mean that publisher are less interested in using it as the other systems actively prevent a second hand market (which in their eyes means more copies sold).
Thats only true if you calculate the launch cost as total cost of the shuttle program divided by the number of launches. If you use the real price of a launch (about 60 million dollar), it would be *very* profitable (50 ton gold are worth about 1.6 billion dollar).
Previously you had all sorts of different arcade systems, first they were game specific hardware, then you had "systems" per manufacturer (Sega System 16 etc.), and today everyone just builts their arcade games around standard PC hardware, some are even running Windows.

So, you either have a good quality HD-DVD with a bad quality DVD copy, or a good quality DVD with a bad quality HD-DVD? I'm not sure if this is really useful.
Why is the new camera with a resolution of 1 metre better than the current camera on Mars Global Surveyor, which is able to deliver some images with a resolution of 50 cm? See here for example pictures with this resolution.
ACCEPTING: The winners were unable to attend the ceremony because they could not obtain United States visas to visit the United States. Dr. Meyer-Rochow sent an acceptance speech via videotape.
I guess Germany is now one of the "countries of concern"? Well, can't say I'm surprised.
There already are some open source movies, for example Route 66, a german movie. It is released under a creative commons license and you can actually get all the source materials if you send them a large enough harddrive where they can copy the data too. And the movie is actually not bad, it sold quite some DVDs despite that you can freely download it:)

Saturn 5 did 110 tons. Here are some large rockets:
For a start, they should stop using stupid proprietary formats like Real Video (the Press Conference Video on their website is only available for Real Player).
Well, sadly we can't do that because their organic compounds would spoil the result;)
The impactor is made primarily of copper (49%) as opposed to aluminum (24%) because it minimizes corruption of spectral emission lines that are used to analyze the nucleus.

Cool, this looks like an almost exact clone of the old DOS game Slipstream 5000! (Well, they don't have weapons on board I hope)
