Given the restrictions present in most login systems, this method WILL work. The odds of there being a single alphanumeric phrase with a lenght of under 20 chars which also collides with both hashes is essentally nil.
To be exact, it's the sum of all possible solutions to one. You can use tools to speed your search for collisions, but it garauntees that only the true password will work, because it has to pass both hashes.
This is a personal thing... My kids (If I had any) would be stuck playing super mario bros on my NES until they're out of the house... I didn't start playing violent games until I was 18 and I don't think they should either.
But, since I'm a lonely slashdot geek, I have neither kids, no a wife/girlfriend/prostitute to produce kids with. So, it's a moot point.
I think the traffic light system is a good idea if only because of the seperate ratings for s l & v... I don't care about violence, but I can always do without excessive profanity and sex... Previously I had to find independent reviews to get that info.
This is definitvely a hit or miss system... my first try was "less than jake" which, well... bombed... My next try was "Unforgiven" by Creed (Actually a metallica cover, but...) and it came up with some great tracks by artists I had never heard of...
Next, I tried a generic search for Brian Eno which returned some good stuff (Tangerine Dream, etc...), and, for some reason, christian hymns... (Which didn't last long... I nixed them.)
Overall, I think I'm buying it with my next paycheck... I give it an 8 out of 10.

My ISP blocks port 25 and I can't find any ISPs that don't block SMTP traffic... what do I do then? If there is no alternate, then all I can do is stop using the internet altogether, or find a hole in their filter.

...between the recording industry and God, is that God does not think that he is the recording industry.
Thank you, thank you, I'll be here 'till Thursday.

Yep... they still make a chip like that. It's now used in the RadioShack "Plug'nPower" system. (Although, I haven't tried interfacing it to a PC yet.)

Can anyone say Network 23?
--Nick
Of course, but they're only going to use it for "no evil."
After all, every publicly traded corporation holds true to their corporate motto, right?

A permanent marker works better... it doesn't add enough extra weight to throw the CD off.

The people who are sesopnsible for the above comments wish it to be know that they, too, have been sacked.

There's actually an OpenGL version of Stunts now. It's on sourceforge, but I can't be bothered to look it up right now.

Wrong. This was also only accessible through a third-party patch.
