Umm if it takes two or three hours to charge a battery, is there anything wrong with a nice long breakfast/lunch/dinner followed by a leisurely cruise thru the adjoining store for travel goodies followed by, say reading in the park next door for a half hour or so? Let the dog out to take a leak (or whatever)? Why do we need to be in a humongous hurry all the time?

yah, you try and find a 'dirt cheap house" anywhere on the Gulf Coast. I've seen falling down old cypress homes selling for over half a mil based simply on their location. Finding anything actually on the water is at least a 250,000 dollar proposition.

I can certainly agree with that sentiment :) The things those two could do to the White House make wild horse damage look positively pedestrian.

Christians don't kill you (in the US) for that only because the laws won't let them get away with it (yet). If the fundies had their way, they would not only get away with it, they're be celebrated for it. Um, how many places in the Old Testament recommend STONING for doing something against their moral code? How many cities did the Israelites destroy because they didn't follow THEIR god? Don't get on your high horse dude, it's only been 5 centuries or so since the Crusades..and I must point out that witch burning was once a popular sport..... Not rubbing blue mud in your navel has always been a dangerous thing...

Don't know that you're not allowed or anything or I 'spect it'd be hard to post on a US based site, wouldn't it? And yah- I must be part of the 5 % that knew about the Shah and the coup because one of my early-teen friends was from over there and she told me a lot about it. Um, not pretty for sure, but surely not the most hidden thing in the world. In your world mileage may vary but here it's old news. Iran needs nukes (bombs) like the rest of the planetary ruling class needs hemhroids.POWER electrical they need just like we all do- and I expect they could get quite seriously good at building all the solar shit if they wanted to...but ya have to want to first. That'll take quite a while as oil is quite profitable right now. I don't care if you're an Iranian or an alien- all I want to know is are you a PERSON- subject to feelings, love, obligations and care. if you are, you're welcome to write me with new ideas.
