    I would have thought slashdotters would know the difference between an OS and a platform. Honesty might let you get away with calling them custom linux phones but Java is a platform not an OS.

    Having worked on a banking website I can assure you that the requirements of a secure site include secure use by the average idiot. Of course the complete idiot will always defeat you. (Someone who has a smart phone configured as their SMS out of band authentication for their bank, the website bookmarked, and their password in an unencrypted file called "passwords", no lock on the phone which they then leave in the pub)

    He was a senior manager, and hated it. He recently paid off his mortgage and then took a programming job at half his salary. He is a lot happier, but had to start at a lower position than his last programming job because of lack of recent experience. A lot of places would not even consider him because of his age and management experience - having someone with senior management experience under you must be a bit daunting for some team leaders.

    If it's unlawful, yes. You already cannot give or take any name you want. This is especially true for companies. Your company name cannot contain anything illegal or what promotes something illegal.
