Exactly. My mum would be very offended by the scene, but she would not go near the game in the first place. People who buy the game are unlikely to be offended.
You see a lot from a distance. I live in the Pennine foothills, above the Leeds/Bradford conurbation. In still weather you can see a brown/yellowish layer over the area. If you drive down into it you don't see anything, though there does seem to be a slight metallic smell.
In my opinion SSL mixed two requirements, identification of site owner and secure communication.
This meant that many sites applied for SSL certificates just for secure communication. Some certificate authorities virtually issued certificates on request.
They should have allowed secure communication without certificates, and had properly authorised certificates to start with. Since they didn't we have the situation where people have to self-sign
While most scientists have no such concerns, a recent preprint released to arxiv systematically dismantles the notion. A risky claim to make. If he's wrong it will totally ruin his reputation;-)
A good friend of mine seems to basically invent things to do so that he doesn't ever get "stuck" with one task at a time, which he says is boring. Like reading slashdot at work?
If they were unemployed it could be beneficial to efficiency. In fact, next time take a trip by the old-peoples home, you could really increase the world's efficiency then.
So what will you do when someone demands that you follow their religion? When they demand that you force your women to cover themselves? Demand that homosexuals be put to death?
Fight for their right to say it?
Or take the UK option, and place the entire population under surveillance.
And if you knowingly accept the subsidy from AT&T/O2, you can't ethically use another provider. If I thought they were ethically producing the phone, making sure the third world employees made a living wage, etc. I might care.
Oracle seem good at doing that. They have a nice tool, JDeveloper, that is free to use. You can use it to generate portable apps, but there are a lot of Oracle extensions that make things easier.
If you use these you have to run on oracle application server (non-free) or pay a fee to use their runtime on another platform.
In the UK diesel is $10 a gallon, and some people still drive SUVs. Still, I have seen a lot of SUVs with for sale signs recently at a third of the price they would have been worth six months ago.
No, it's because most bloggers have the mistaken idea that like-minded souls will seek out and read their stuff, think hard about it and then post an insightful response which re-inforces their self-worth. As we all know, most blogs are a write-only medium, if they have any benefit to the writer it's purely cathartic as it lets the writer vent a bit.
my sadnerds.wordpress.com sometimes gets as many as seven hits per week. Someone even left me a comment once.
From using a record company as your ISP. Anyone could have predicted that they would be tougher on illegal downloads than ISPs that are mainly communications companies.
From FTA: Moreover, it would also join both the OASIS working group as well as the ISO/IEC JTC1 working group that has control of the ISO/IEC version of ODF.
How long until they bribe the working group and we find that ODF includes specifications like "word wrap like office 95"?

To get round they introduced extended validation certificates, which means we really, really validate this site.

If we pool both of ours together maybe we could each live his life on alternate weeks
Strange.
The UK customs at the French end of the channel tunnel say that the customs post is UK territory in order to apply UK border control laws.

When sharing a cake, if you give more to the hungry students the portions for those who aren't hungry have to be smaller
That's due for release shortly after HURD.

I'd rather inseminate than deseminate
I bet you signed a contract with them saying you would never divulge your username and password.

Just mail it to anyone. They will find you.
If this is an example of email... I am not surprised that you should be interested in this topic.
Maybe your boss will find out why you lost the Cohen account.

Except we haven't opted out of any. MPs have proposed opting out of parts, but have not done so ... yet.
I'm sure I'll be safe with the Microsoft powered flame thrower.
Exactly. It is there as an aid to extension developers and testers. If you enable it and have problems with Firefox 3, don't blame FF3.
