    I'd aim at eradicating all life. It is not a huge step for some slime to evolve into patent lawyers.

    So this is what they use donations for. They should have collected a fund specifically for this, because some people will see the aim as unrealistic (in that they probably won't win and even if they did the NSA may carry on in secret) and some may think mas surveillance necessary

    In Venezuela, people create markets in commodities like toilet paper, just because they can, creating inflation. They are inserting themselves as middlemen driving up prices. It would be better to have a first-come-first-served policy in cases of shortage, or rationing. Capitalism just creates inflation, and don't forget about slavery.

    I think you are right, in some niche circumstances, for example where there are shortages of essentials capitalism may not be the answer and rationing would be better. I don't see that altering the fact that for the vast majority of situations it is the best way we know of of matching supply and demand and increasing efficiency.

    Nobody is going to get charged unless there's evidence that they knew they were hosting child porn and did nothing about it.

    In my opinion they would have to know specifics. I'm sure that employees of the the phone company know that abusive and threatening calls are made sometimes, but that shouldn't make them liable.

    Ghost town? G+ is no ghost town. My G+ stream is more active than fb feed. I have more friends on fb. I follow more random people on G+. Pro photographers and Techs.

    That's what I find. Following technical subjects, etc. is much better on G+. Following friends holidays, birthdays, etc. better on FB

    The longterm solution to Pakistans terrorism problems is largely structural and political. Increased education funding, crackdowns on government corruption, increased employment, and most of all a more vocal and political opposition to the United States drone war.

    Wishful thinking. Its time to realise terrorism is motiveted by Islam, not poverty or lack of education. The BBC let slip this morning that girls going off to become "ISIS brides" were above average intelligence, straight A students and they did not grow up in poverty. The same for the 9/11 bombers.
