I know at least one of the major fixes is an 802.1X implementation that actually works without having to install the Internet Connect App. It's finally going to correctly support 802.1X PEAP w/WEP and WPA, something the previous version of 10.5 did horribly, if at all. Installing the Internet Connect app from 10.4 was a useful workaround, but seemed like a pretty stupid thing to have to do, especially for an apple product. But, as along as 10.5.3 works, my clients should be hapy (if a bit annoyed that it took so long).

They can still be scary as hell (usually involving my family being hurt or something), but can be a great problem solving tool. One other thing that has always really fascinated me, is people having the SAME dream. For instance, apparently my father and I both have the exact same (or nearly the same) dream in which we show up for class one day and realize it's the end of the semester and we've completely forgotten about a class we were supposed to be going to all year. It really freaked me out when we discovered that we have the same dream. Cool stuff.

Why is it that movies that depict extremely graphic, senseless murder receive PG-13 and R ratings, while full-frontal nudity can easily doom a movie with the forbidden NC-17 rating? Surely murder is worse than sex, so why does society seem to stomach murder more easily than sex? In my lifetime, I have seen more people murdered (on television, movies, etc.) than I have seen naked men/women. It is fairly evident that modern culture feels violence is less harmful to children (for example, how many times does Wile E Coyote get injured/killed?) than sex (how often does said coyote get laid?).
You know, I've often wondered about this as well. And thinking about it just now, I may have an answer of sorts. I think the difference between violence and nudity in movies is this: reality. Say an actor gets shot in the head and "dies". He then shows up later in another movie or TV appearance, none the worse for wear, so it's easy to explain to children that he is, in fact, not dead, and that the death in the movie was fake. On the other hand, if an actor is butt naked in a movie, that's generally not fake, and a bit harder to explain away. Does that make any sense? I'm not saying I agree that violence is better than nekkidness ('coz it's not), I'm just trying to shed some possible light on the subject. I may also be 100% wrong.

Besides the obvious factual errors you are making, you seem to be a bit of a hipocrite as well. So we got "beat" by a bunch of vietnamese kids, but there's no way we could do the same to an invading force? Of course we're not living in a movie. But that does not mean that we cannot put up some form of defense. Oh, and I don't live "in the woods." Sure, China has thier multi-million man army, but I personally possess better weapons than most of the chinese conscripts (or whatever they are) are likely to be equipped with, and I have a pretty small collection. There are very few other countries that can boast as well an armed populace as the US can. As Admiral Yamamoto said: "You cannot invade the mainland United States.
