Oh, and it's magazines, not 'clips'. Clips are entirely different. Magazines usually have a return spring to push the rounds into the chamber. A clip is normally a strip of metal that hold s the rounds for insertion into a box mag.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but out of all the stores in my city that have self-checkout, WALMART has the best system, surprisingly enough. They're fast (they stop talking to you after you scan the first item), they're generally reliable, and most importantly, you can actually remove items from the scales after they've been scanned and weighed, and it won't freak out. And in our walamrts, there is one cashier for every 4 self-checkout machines. Just a bit of anecdotal evidence.

180m/s is an unusable speed for a bullet. When people talk about a "speeding bullet", they are talking about an averge bullet speed, usually in reference to a rifle. 1500fps is not a "fast" rifle bullet, it's very mediocre (roughly the speed of a 7.62x39mm internediate cartridge). A "fast" rifle bullet would be a hi-power .223 (something like 2100-2300fps+). A 9mm pistol bullet is usually around 900-1000fps (IIRC). So your 180m/s bullet is more like a pellet gun, in fact, most pellet rifles (and some pistols) are around 400-700fps. I only being it up because you said the plane was traveling at the speed of a bullet.

look at the photos of the pentagon, whole in the wall looks like a missile damage, and does not have holes or damage where the 10 tonne titanium and steel jet engines travelling at the speed of a bullet collided with it.
Don't mean to feed the nutbars, but I had to respond to this. Passenger jets don't fly anywhere NEAR the speed of a bullet. At best, they do ~580mph, and that's at 35,000ft. The average rifle bullet is 1500fps, (or ~1000mph). Please, take off the tinfoil, it makes you brain stem function.

I may be stating the obvious, but it seems to me that Sony (and to a lesser extent MS) are RELYING on fanboyism to sell their product. All the console developers must have noticed how extremely rabid a lot of thier systems fans are, and could it be that they are giving us lesser systems KNOWING that there will plenty of people that buy one "SIMPLY cause it's a Playstation", as you say? There seems to be a growing trend in most markets of this kind of thinking. Make small improvements, market the hell out of it, and rely on the rabid fans. Kinda sad, really.

If you're referring to thier recent Flanker purchase, I think you're overestimating what that fighter can do. Granted, they're excellent airplanes, and very capable. But, they are no more capable than anything we have (at least the versions the Chinese have, which are essentially generation 1.5 Su-27s). And they have NOTHING that even comes close the to the F-22. The J-10 is no more capable than an F-16, and the J-12 is a paper tiger. The other thing you forget is training. The US trains its pilots more than any other airforce (save maybe the Brits and Israel). Chinese pilots do get more training than Russian pilots, but not by much. The key for the US is quality, not quantity, and the only thing the Chinese have is quantity.
