    I think that's an interesting angle. A shared hosting sort of thing. Sort of a cross between bit torrent and serving websites. There would be no central website to keep running, (or shut down, for that matter), if everyone is sharing the load of hosting it. I know there are a ton of puzzles to solve to make something like that happen, and it's above and beyond my abilities, but I think if it was going to be a truly "open" network, wouldn't the shared hosting of it make it even more so than having it all on one (or 10) central servers?

    Your logical fallacy is "Videos, from a person (apparently) who claims that they are part of Al qaeda, appear to have been edited, according to someone else"... perhaps it should be stated as "A collection of still images, presumably photographic in nature, from a being, presumably from this planet, known as a 'person', who claims that they are part of Al Qaeda, appear to have been edited, according to another being, presumably also from this planet, also known as a person.

    With all the "who's gonna download crap onto their phone?" posts, this is what occurred to me. Can you use this to schedule/direct torrents to download on another computer? That would be something.
